Try flavors and find something that you like and won't get sick of quickly. In my opinion, if you can reassociate the satisfaction of the nicotine craving from the tobacco taste to something better, then that's a good thing. Vape on something tasty long enough, and the taste of cigarettes will quickly become horrific and you won't be able to get through one.

Stick with sample (smallest) sizes. You'll pay more per ml that way but throw away less money in the long run. Many here have successfully quite or cut down using tobacco flavors and would never have made it vaping fruit or dessert as the brain (not the body) demands that taste to feel satisfied. The mental obsession to smoke continues long after physical addiction is conquered so don't exclude tobaccos. Just be careful because vendors with page upon page of fruit and dessert flavors usually suck at tobacco ones. Tobacco juice mixing is a skill and art all its own. The main thing is don't rush. Let things happen naturally. One day you'll find that you just forget to smoke. If you got there using tobacco-flavored juice, that's the time to branch out to mainly fruits or desserts if you like them. Personally, I don't whether in food or vape so they would never have worked for me. But, mainly, eating is not smoking... at least my brain doesn't think so. Everyone is different. The key is to know yourself and what your needs are to reach your goal.

It is all a personal preference, but I personally have always been a tobacco lover. I started out with the fruity flavors when vaping but I found myself missing those tobacco products that I had constantly. One particular thing that I found helpful was getting a tobacco blend that was closest to my cigarette blend. It was nice and refreshing to have that. I also have a clove flavor as well as a good cigar flavor.

Don't get me wrong, I love the fruity flavors and even some of the dessert flavors but as a smoker you're used to smoking a tobacco flavor all day. I don't particularly agree in the concept of quitting tobacco completely, including tobacco flavors, is anymore beneficial than just getting tobacco e-liquids and vaping them. Yes the goal is to get away from tobacco, but some of us enjoy the taste. I did.

But as your sense of taste and smell come back with vaping you'll notice a change in taste and preferences. And the flavor options are virtually endless.

What worked for me wasn't trying to quit smoking, but trying to replace my smoking habit with a vaping habit. Just the thought of quitting smoking caused anxiety attacks and a fear of failure so bad I'd be doomed.

When my vaping gear arrived I replaced all of my traditional smoking times/places/rituals with vaping times/places/rituals ... but in my opinion the trick was that even though I was really dedicating myself to vaping, if I wanted a cigarette , I'd have one. I wouldn't forgo my vape for a cigarette, I'd just have a cigarette after my vape if I still really wanted one. For example I'd always have a smoke after dinner out on the back porch, so I started having a vape after dinner on the back porch .... if I really REALLY wanted a cigarette .... then what the heck .... they are legal ... I'm a grownup .... I'd have one.

I went from a 1.5 - 2 pack a day habit, to taking me about 2 weeks to smoke the last half of a pack that were left when my gear came. When the left over ciggies were gone I just never had the NEED to go to buy more ..... if the desire ever hits me hard enough I'll just hit a few tokes on the VTR and decide if it's worth a run to the corner to buy a pack .... so far it's been almost a month and I still haven't visited the 7-11 on the corner.

My local shop (smokecignals) has some pretty awesome flavors. I personally like the watermelon, which I had no idea I'd like, but I do. Like others have said, just try a few flavors and you'll find something you like. Mt. Baker Vapor has some good flavors from what I've tried from them. Mt. Baker Vapor is also really cheap (like $5 for 15ml and $7.50 for 30ml) and I got my order in two days. I don't know the shipping time for smokecignals but you can order them online also.

I would try to avoid the tobacco flavors if you can. You are trying to forget that you like that taste.

Try something else that you might like. I am not a big fruity flavors kinda guy, but it turns out thats what I like to vape. I had no idea.

It really depends on personal preference. For me, if it hadn't been for tobacco flavors, I would not have even tried e-cigs in the first place. Even now, I can't stand 99% of the flavors I've tried (again personal preference) but I love Halo's Tribeca (tobacco flavor), and it's been enough to keep me from going back to analogs
