Hello All,

I have a couple of batteries that don't show up on any Google search, so the manufacturer is a mystery. Has anyone seen or used these before or recognize the style or coloration? The only reference I can find on them is a Russian forum that doesn't have anything specific other than a couple of pictures.

See attached. I peeled one of them to check for production numbers: SEK4RXA

I don't recognize that battery. Unless Mooch can lend a hand (he's seen more batteries than anyone on this forum) I would not use those batteries in a mod of any type.

  • Generic Batteries. Not recommended. "No name" or off brand printed on the wrapper. Seen at FastTech, Amazon & EBay at cheap prices or thrown in for free in a kit when you purchase a mod from China. These are unknown batteries of unknown quality by an unknown manufacturer, and not worth the risk using in your mod. Never assume because they were included with your mod that they are safe, or the correct battery to use. Do not harvest batteries from an old laptop computer.
Where did you get those batteries?

Bought a mod on consignment from a local store. I didn't need or want them but they were included.

They were possibly what was wrong with the mod in the first place. Remember anything sold used was unwanted by the seller for some reason and it’s often because there is something wrong with it.

Very likely. The mod works great with 25Rs. They're probably batteries salvaged from a laptop or something but wanted to check before tossing them.
