Just a quick question for everyone out there... If you were to order a $35 mod that is supposed to be made by a "reputable" company and sold to you buy a "reputable" vendor. And you ended up with something that had a "cosmetic" defect. Would you be bothered by it?... When I order something I make it a point to research the device and vendor thoroughly before I make a purchase. Some people may say it's only $35... what's the big deal? Not everyone has a budget that includes $35 or whatever the amount may be to just throw away on a gamble. If I buy a product from somewhere (vaping or non vaping related)... I expect the product to be exactly as advertised. Especially "cosmetically"... seeing as I must have enjoyed the look of it hence the reason I purchased it. Opinions?...

I say, if it has a defect of any kind that you are not willing to live with, ask for a replacement. If they are reputable, then they will honor that, without a hassle. You paid for new, you should get what they advertised to you. I look at it this way when I order online, when I go through a drive through, and then discover that my order is wrong, I ask myself, A: is it worth going all the way back for it (gas money, time, etc..) B: Is it something I can deal with?.. Depending on those answers, is the deciding factor in what I do or do not. :)

If you find a blemish I would expect the vendor to stand behind the product. For me to be very happy I would just say there was a problem and the vendor would send a new one out, happy would be them saying send it in and we will look, unacceptable would be an offer of money off, very unacceptable, to the point of contacting the BB, would be the vendor doing nothing.

That being said, I would not be upset if a vendor did not spot a small defect. If the item is in a box from the manufacturer I would not expect the merchant to open and check it. If it is a mass produced item I would not have a problem with a problem slipping through QA.

It is not a problem until there is a problem straightening it out.

An answer of "Yeah it's wrong and if you REALLY want we can fix it or you can just let it go" will cause me to look to a different vendor the next time. There are more than a few places on the web that sell the same item at about the same price so I can pick who I do business with.

send it back, wait 3 days - get email - wait 3 days, get it back. Quicker to buy a bit of black paint no? Or marry a Goth.

You bought it for its ability to function and if it does that - you're cool! It's a vision spinner - it costs what? $35.

Wait till you really get going and think $100 on a tank or atty is ok! (no dancing girls and Macy parade with those either :/)

Put a dab of paint on it and you're a modder.

If it is indeed the dot beneath the 3.3v, it's a mark, and it's supposed to be there, to clarify where exactly the 3.3 volt mark is.
Don't know if it makes any sense, it's 2:41 AM here, I'm tired :p

Edit: You posted the new picture as I was writing the above. Disregard, I presume you're talking about the scratched/chipped red indicator line? If so, yeah, I'd contact the vendor.
