If it's the little bare metal just to the left of the knurl, I would probably keep it, but you paid
for a "new" item and if it bothers you, then I think you should contact the vendor and let them know
you paid for a blemish free item and ask them to exchange it. If they value your business, they will
work with you.

you can't see that horrid red line that SHOULD be nice and straight indicating the voltage?

Honestly, it looks like every other red indicator line I've seen in photos of the Vision Spinner II. It's a mass produced product coming out of China and if it otherwise works as advertised, then it wouldn't bother me. Judging by the reaction of this thread, not many others would notice it. With that said, If it does bother you, send it back. You may be better off finding one locally so you can check it out in full detail before buying.

For a cheap device like that, if it works, keep it. You have it now and in a week there will be way more scratches on it. If it was a $200 device, I would return it. No biggie. I would mention it to the vendor in a polite manner and show him the pics. The vendor may give you some instore credit and in return you can give him some word of mouth kudos to your buddies...everyone wins..

Just a quick question for everyone out there... If you were to order a $35 mod that is supposed to be made by a "reputable" company and sold to you buy a "reputable" vendor. And you ended up with something that had a "cosmetic" defect. Would you be bothered by it?... When I order something I make it a point to research the device and vendor thoroughly before I make a purchase. Some people may say it's only $35... what's the big deal? Not everyone has a budget that includes $35 or whatever the amount may be to just throw away on a gamble. If I buy a product from somewhere (vaping or non vaping related)... I expect the product to be exactly as advertised. Especially "cosmetically"... seeing as I must have enjoyed the look of it hence the reason I purchased it. Opinions?...

No, I would not be upset.

Now if I were a vendor and you notified me of this "problem", I would cheerily offer you a full refund, then refuse your business in the future.

A refund? I simply want what I paid for. It's more in the principal really if you think about it? Would you buy a "NEW" vehicle with a dent in the fender? And cheerfully I wouldn't even bother glancing at your website/store either which hurts you way more than me seeing as there are DOZENS of online websites that you can go to daily and new vendors popping up all the time!!!

P.S. and why refuse my business? Because I was unhappy with a product that had a cosmetic defect? Refuse my possible future business simply for the fact that I wouldn't just "except" a minor defective product? Wow... way to stand by the products you sell and what an aspect you have!... I honestly hope for their sake's you aren't a vendor... lmao...

The defect is where it says Vision Spinner when it should say Provari.

Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk

If only I had the extra dollars to spend... I would certainly go that route. I have a few SID's and MVP V2's but that's about it... I actually wanted the Spinner 2 to be my on the go mod... was looking forward to showing it off... smh

If I were a vendor and you hassled me over a semi-crooked red line on a $35 spinner, I would insist on refunding you the money rather than replacing it. I would be happy that you moved on to a competing vendor as you would be their problem then and out of my hair. I would most likely then give you suggestions on which vendors you should do business with and list my top 3 competitors.

Then show it off! No one is going to notice it.

That's definitely cosmetic,
as to whether it's a defect,

first: the black mark under the red, is that just black color/paint? or is it like metal damage?

If it's just color, then not a defect; if it is metal damage, then its defect;

either way, not worth bothering about.

It is, afterall, ultimately a battery which will die off with use.

If you want a fine shiny piece of jewelry, you gotta spend the money; jewelry is expensive.
