I will... when my replacement arrives. The vendor has been decent enough to swap it out with another but the shipping will be at my cost sending it back. Which bothers me a little. But receiving something sub par is not acceptable for me. And as far as the vendor... more than likely this will be the last transaction. So it is what it is... I was just curious if it would have bothered anyone as much as it did me. Apparently expecting what you paid for is a rarity around the vaping industry... or at least to ECF...

It seems to me that the '"defect" makes you unhappy, you being the customer can do what some have mentioned, 1) write a letter of concern to the vendor and ask what your options are, maybe an offer from the vendor of some sort of compensation. 2) send it back for replacement taking a chance the replacement will be better, or the same. 3) correct the "defect" yourself.

To answer your question as what I would do ? If it's fully functional, i would let it go and use the device, or correct it myself. MHO.

i see you have updated as I was posting. Hope your replacement is better than the first :)

BigCity, to be honest, I think your standards and expectations are a little inflated. I get where you are coming from, I truly do. But, you purchased a budget APV that is cheap and disposable by nature. I really would not sweat the small stuff. Use it till it dies. If you are expecting perfection from a cheap Chinese PV at that price point, you will be constantly let down.

Now, if you paid top dollar for a high end mod, then I see your argument and understand your dissatisfaction. I would be equally critical.

Just vape with it. Your going to scratch it up anyhow from use. Why waste the postage and be out the PV waiting for a replacement...especially when the replacement will have a different defect.

Trust me, tis all good. Vape it.

Oh, please. No one even noticed the "blemish." The point is, this stuff is made in China and is relatively cheap. Whining about such a small thing makes you seem...a little petty.

To answer your original question, NO, I would not be upset. I have too many IMPORTANT things to worry about than a microscopic "blemish" on a cheap little battery.

well it's obvious that the people who disagree with me don't take pride in the appearance of the device they carry with them from day to day. I mean would you wear a shirt with holes or stains on it out and be proud? It's the same principles in my opinion.

I'm not so sure anybody disagreed with you; most merely didnt think much of the issue,

on the other hand you yourself were quite careful to not state details of 'reputable' vendor etc which might have have made a difference.

If it were a genuine Joyetech eGoTwist, then yeah, I could see you sending it back for a replacement easy.
But if its your average vape shop sell knockoff from China, often with unauthorized logos on them, its another matter.

you can't see that horrid red line that SHOULD be nice and straight indicating the voltage?

The pic is too small to see more than a red blur, which I *assume* is a red line. If you posted a bigger, clearer pic, maybe we could see what you're talking about.

C, mon man , you asked for opinions and your getting them , don't get an attitude if they aren't in your favor , the fact is what your complaining about is nothing , a tiny red mark that will be gone forever in a matter of days . Send it back , maybe they will open a red sharpie and use a straightedge this time , ridiculous.

You get what you pay for, and you bought a cheap mass produced Chinese device. When dealing with products from china these days I am happy if they show up in one piece, work, and are not made out of lead. That is just the way it is and a big part of why this stuff is so cheap. If you want Quality control you have to pay for it and get something like a Provari or one of those $200 mechs and rba's.

Maybe... seeing as apparently $35 can't get you a straightedge lol... and attitude? Nope... didn't mean to come off that way or as "whinny" lmao @ chellemmm... like the first post stated... I just wanted peoples opinions... but it's cool to each is own... maybe i'm just too "ocd"... and the fact that I don't have the dollars to just spend like that...

when it comes down to it your right... although I have 3 Kanger Evod batteries, 2 Smok SID's with AW IMR's, and 2 MVP V2's and haven't had any quality issues with them whatsoever...

Personally, I wouldn't bother trying to return an item over something so small. I'd just chip away the little bit of red paint that went out of the line area. (Or maybe I wouldn't even do that - it's barely noticeable). Before seeing this thread, I never noticed that the little red line on my Spinner is imperfect. I still don't care.

I bought a battery from a shop in Hong Kong which says "eGo-C Twist" on it, but it also said it was 1300 mAh, and there are no 1300 mAh eGo-C Twists. When I put a topper on it, it's crooked; I have to kinda physically straighten it, but not too much, lest I flat out break it in half. It cost $10. I use it every morning with a Mini PT II to start the day, and I can use it for 3 days in a row before I even think of charging it, so... I think I got my money's worth, crooked or not crooked. Oh, and the charger for it cost $.79 so I bought two, to make sure I could keep charging it, since I don't have any other ego-type batteries. I didn't expect perfect for $10, and I didn't get it, so I wasn't surprised or disappointed.

However for $35 I would have found something better than any kind of eGo battery; my Sigelei Zmax v3 was only $39.95; so was my full starter kit for the iTaste vv3.
