Hi there sorry to be so negative but these genesis tanks are driving me potty
what I was wondering ,is there anyone in the hull area willing to give me a practical
lesson in coiling the wick and mesh( I just keep getting hot spots from the centre post to the top coil)
I am prepared to travel to sort this out anywhere in hull or surrounding area
please help?
I have done them before so I know how good they can be
just lately I can't seem to get rid of the hot spot
i have pushed it closer to the post
i have released the tension on the top soil
tightened the tension on the top coil
and nothing ,no difference at all
please help

Hi Pete:

It takes a little bit to get the hang of Gennys. I recommend using the cigarette paper for making sure that your wick is oxidized Wrapping A Genesis Atty Using Rolling Paper - YouTube and also make sure that you are not over-tightening the wire to the center post.

Please look at the link under my signature 'iHybrid Wiki' for a bunch of resources that can help you to get started. It says iHybrid but has great information for any genesis rebuildable.

Best of Luck!

sorry to hear of your problem pete,

I had exactly the same problem a few months ago with the did rba, i tried absolutely everything you can imagine.

Asked for advice on here, watched tons of you tube video`s, and could i get it right ? could i hell as like. it was popping the coils left right and centre. some times it is better to admit defeat and just move on.

So sadly it just sits in the back of my vaping drawer, doing nothing. sorry i can`t help, but if it helps (you are not the only one) and won`t be the last, i am pretty sure of that
