She's right, guess we should still be helpful to people, even when their motives are questionable.
I don't mind helping others but I think I will keep it to just advice, aside from the NT/Reo forums.
The Members of ECF are wonderfully generous
Unfortunately they get taken advantage of due to their kindness.
We have had members that have given be contacted again and again for more and more...with many more reasons of tragedy.
The people that come in begging or fishing for offers are dealt with by staff...believe you me.
(We are mean here remember...)

Nah ya'll aren't mean at all from the few mods I have talked to you're all really nice, as long as people behave.
And I'll be good, I don't want to get dealt with by the staff. I like it here.
The only meanness I've seen from the moderators here are those horrible, oppressive, draconian rules that force a new member to post FIVE (5) comments in the New Members Forum before they can venture into other areas of ECF.
I'm not a real rules person, but I especially hate the draconian ones! Using whips and stuff...

classwife's motives were not to scold you. She means to protect you. If someone is acting up, and other people jump in which fuels the fire, everyone is going to get in trouble not just the one who started it. She is being quite kind that she reached out to you before the boom was lowered.
I never finished reading that thread, but that's good because I was so POed! Two days earlier he posted he couldn't afford cotton. Amazing how one can't afford cotton, but can afford cigarettes.
He probably wanted a bundle of KGD, not just some crappy cotton balls from the Walgreens on the corner. Who wants to wick their new dripper with crappy cotton?

A Reo is on my big wish list too! The setup I have right now is working good for me atm and I'm not smoking so it's all good!!!

I read the thread and I am with Reign 100% on the way he handled it. If it had been me, I would not have handled it as well
