Has anyone tried the Decadent Vapours Mixing Kits? I don't like the fact that you get their own selection of flavours in the Connoisseur kits but for a total noob like me that would probably make my introduction to mixing a little bit easier. I wouldn't have a clue how much nicotine to add to the mix etc and the kits kind of simplify that. It seems to make juice infinitely cheaper - about 20p per ml if my calculations are correct.

Any thoughts?

Vaping mixing kit, mix your own e-juice, Diluent, nicotine, superb flavouring.

That sounds quite expensive for what it is to be fair.

The most expensive components in mixing are the flavours and nicotine. Flavours generally cost £3 per bottle and I recently picked up 1 litre of 7.2% nic for £72.

Diluent is very cheap, you'll need some food or pharmaceutical grade Glycerine and propylene glycol which costs around £8 per 1l. Pipettes, measuring beakers etc. and HDPE bottles can be got from ebay for very little money.

For flavours I would recommend flavour art as they are quite strong, go a long way and generally are very nice. My personal favourite range is mom and pops flavourings, not quite as economical as flavour art but very yummy!

I'm not a fan of DIY starter kits. They're far more expensive than just buying what you need. Its a great idea on paper, but.... Meh.

If you like vanilla custard....buy a big bottle of Capella vanilla custard flavoring, a bottle of TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and a bottle of TFA cotton candy. Mix it at 13% CVC, 3% vbic and 1% cc.
Now all you need is nic and VG. Some empty bottles and a few syringes.

You can get larger quantities for less $ buying separate and you only pay for what you need.

The DIY forums are a great start.

I like Decadent Vapours. A lot. :)

Some great flavour concentrates and nice people too.

But, kits can sometimes be a bit silly and Decadent are expensive for Nicotine and Dilutent liquids.

I don't use a kit... I just mix 10ml/30ml bottles into used (washed) bottles using a 2, 5 & 10 ml syringe.

My 3 top flavours are all from Decadent. I buy the flavour concentrates from them but everything else comes from LT e-cigs.

VPG Nicotine Base

As ever, your worry will be the P&P (shipping) costs.

LT do some good flavours, but nothing beats Decadent Lime Zinger, Caramel and Coconut...

(not all together at once.. :) )

Oh... Postmodern are quite good too.
