If possible, I need info on suppliers that provide juice that is regulated and\or tested by 3rd party

I have been concerned for some time that the juice I use may not be safe. No specific reason, just a concern that is always in the back of my mind.

Don't get me wrong, I love vaping and quit smoking 3 years ago on PVs after smoking for 25+ years. So, I am a huge proponent of vaping.

With that said, as with any substance, there is always the possibility of contamination in the production or packaging of juice. If your supplier is simply "throwing together" some "stuff" to make it, then you cannot be sure that what you are getting is safe.

My question is are there any suppliers I can get my juice from that have had their product tested or regulated by a reputable and verifiable 3rd party lab or equivalent? Or does production such as this not exist? I mean, I want to make sure that no shortcut substances or methods are used that may introduce blatantly dangerous toxins or such outside of the normal PG\flavor mix.

Thanks,
Ken

Thanks guys, I will look at both.

@Saphirsis - Their ISO certification is 9001:2008, which is a generic ISO that applies to all organizations regardless of product, size, etc.. And I doubt they are "registered" with the FDA since this industry is not yet being regulated by the FDA. However, they appear to be on the right track and I will give their's a shot as well.

Thanks again,
Ken

There is no formal regulation as far as I know .. as well, testing, while nice if it's really being done, is still essentially meaningless .. most, if not all, the liquid we use is based on a leap of faith as far as consistency / quality / ingredients / etc ..

Even our food supply is pretty much under the same scenario .. nothing can be absolutely, 100% guaranteed at all times ..

As I said, my concern wasn't what should be in the juice, but what might be in the juice if not produced properly or using shortcut methods. Flower "cutting" in the 80's comes to mind, if you get my drift ;)

Of course, there is never 100% assurance, but every little effort counts.

My best advice would be to stay with well established companies, and not to order from "Bob's Juice." I know that many of these smaller companies have huge arrays of liquid, but I'll take consistency and safety over choice any day. The odds of a bigger or organized company who puts their name on the liquid are probably going to be better, considering these kinds of companies want to stick around for a long time, even after FDA regulation. They will tend to have maybe 6 - 10 liquids, but probably more consistent.

So the companies that run a tight ship, are organized, truly stand by their products and want to be around for a long time are intuitively the companies that I will do business with.

The whole bigger is better approach may not hold entirely true. I know garage based shops could be a no go for liquid, but other shops that are pretty small (like Kick Bass Vapor for example) make consistent batches and allow some custom changes requested by their customers. I think the word of mouth suggestion holds more water than anything else. If there are a group of vapers that have a gut feeling about a certain brand, I suggest to stay away! It would be nice to have an ESRB type of organization like the video game industry created for self governing that existed for e liquid manufacturing. I believe that if our community ALREADY had a checks and balances type of system prior to any type of government regulatory system, it would get a lot more slack. Then again that's my 2 cents!

I actually just ordered sampler from Johnson Creek, but still would like more info on others if you know.

Thanks again,
Ken

Johnson's is too heavily flavored for me. I put my trust in ECOPure these days. A Good UK brand with plenty of testing and very few ingredients.
