Couldn't agree more. I love my passthrough. I think I have mentioned before that mine is with me perpetually. I have discussed surgical attachment with my Plastic Surgeon but he thinks that is going a bit far. Me thinks I need a new surgeon.

Seriously though, I bought a USB battery charger and a car charger so I can take my passthrough everywhere I go. It's my friend. We are attached at the lip!

I'm a real computer dinosaur so please don't laugh [ oh go ahead] but um where do you plug in the usb on the computer? i know how to turn my puter on and off and clean it up some but that's about it! thanx!

If you are using a laptop, the USB should be on the side (right or left depending on model). On a desktop, it will be on the tower (usually in the back). Hope this helps.

Depends on the computer. Just look at the connecting pieces, gauge the size, and gently see if it fits. Not very techy I know... I am more a software verses hardware kinda gal, lol! Eh, but at least I can plug it in eh? It goes into the same port that my digital camera goes into (if that helps.)

keep on learning plant. As well all of you seasoned life people. Using computer and generally staying up to date with technology and modern things helps prevent depression and increases lifespan. Keep it on the DL though if the FDA hears about this they may try to ban computers for the harmful metals and magnetic fields and things they generate.

and get yourself a USB-Car adapter and a USB-Mains adapter - I got mine for a couple pounds each of ebay then you can use your USB everywhere :)

Yeah i got a kensington 4 hole usb charger adaptor thingie whoops out 2 amperes and will power at least two passthroughs at the same time and charge a battery and PCC all at the same time. I think their ratings are a little conservative LOL. I suggest everyone gets one, but at $22US, I somehow doubt everyone will. it is, in my opinion *the* way to fly off AC power. Hell of a lot more portable than your PC too lol

USB Dual Power Adapter
try one of these. works great! Cheap too..
Ive purchased several and he ships fast!
1.5 amps at 5 volts.
beats usb ports and this is small//

I been waitin for that link to pop up, just ordered 3. It's significantly cheaper than the kensington I use, and im not so afraid the wife will find a way to break it. Ive seen time and and time again that these power passthroughs effectively, so I'm anxious to test one...but I bought 3 so i guess I'm committed LOL
