Hey everyone! This is a monumentally important decision I have to make here so I'm turning to our great community for some help in deciding.

For anyone that isn't familiar with me, I'm Ben from VaporNine.com and I've been selling electronic cigarettes for about 1 and a half years.. Been on the forums a while too! I've been about 100% online but just recently decided I'd really like to get into setting up stores with product and get electronic cigarettes out there in a big way!

We've been selling the KR808 (cartomizers) for some time now and it's a pretty good model but the cartridges are way more expensive than those that don't have a built in atomizer and this makes it tough to stock stores from and eliminates a lot of the potential markup that both we and the the store needs to sell them profitably... For this reason I think that regular cartridges are probably a better choice?

Also- the KR808 is pretty hit or miss as far as people liking it.. Some people love it, with its great flavor and immense throat hit, but they can be a bit too strong as the throat hit goes, and they usually don't produce the same amount of vapor as something like a 510..

I've been thinking of a few different models-

The 510- Seems to be a very popular model.. Haven't sold it yet, myself. A little big and I think this might turn off new users compared to something like the M702.. Makes great vapor and they're pretty reliable in the push-button form from what I understand.

One thing I don't like is the PCC look- one reason I have been looking at the:

M702 with "smart pcc"- Looks almost exactly like a cigarette and the PCC is unbelievably cool.. Check it out if you haven't seen em!

Joye306- don't know much about the reliability..?

Open to other suggestions. Reliability is very important so might even lean toward a push-button model for reliability's sake..

All feedback and advice is greatly appreciated, trying to make the best decision here so we can move forward- have been rather stuck as far as that goes!

I'm not even sure if this is an option, but the Vapor King for it's ease of use. Does that even count?

We sell the KR808-d too :)

It's definitely a good cig but like I say above I think it's really hit or miss for a lot of customers + the cartridges are really expensive wholesale.. Still going to consider it though, should talk to my accountant about it as far as the cost/retail and all that

The Vapor King is just a private label kr808d-1, I have the 510 and kr808d-1 (not a vapor king) prefer the 808. Lasts longer between refills and better battery life on a stock battery. ie: not a mega battery

Gotta love the 808 cart life, for sure! :p

Took a look at your site real quick and I can buy a little more 5 cartos for what you sell 5 carts. Maybe the margins are not as high, but if your going to do retail, you would have to be high volume to cover all the overhead. No matter which you sell.

Are talking about your own retail store, or getting existing stores to buy from you to resell?

Wow, thanks for the reponses already.. you guys are quick :D

Out of curiosity- anybody have experience with the m702?

How about the 510 portable charger case? I always felt they were clunky feeling but probably didn't give them the chance I should have

Ben

My PCC for my 510 is just a bit bigger than the pack of cigarettes I carried in my shirt pocket for 25 years. I love the PCC, and I never feel right when it is not with me. My usual shirt pocket gear went from a pack of analogues and a bic to a PCC, 510, and 5ml bottle of drippin' juice.

vote for 510 to stock

Cheers,
Dude

Staying warm NOW but that foot of snow was a surprise for SURE!!!!:w00t: We had fun, built snowmen and a fort :D About that black caddy......JK, Im used to it! MOST k-vegasians are slow and unpredictable drivers and Im now used to it.....maybe even becoming one myself!8-oI think its cool that its such a small world bc if you know Kernersville, you KNOW its a SMALL world!!!!;)

Take care and hope whatever model you decide on makes it BIG! (im sure any model will sell tho) i know Ive turned alot of people onto the disposable 510s, then they buy a reg starter kit and once over the "I want it to look like a cig" phase, they want more battery life, so anything with a PCC would be a smart choice IMO :) I know I LOVED my 510 w PCC for a while before I took the mod plunge....I swear if they made a 12 volt batt holder that fits in my hand Id slap a HV atty on it and vape it like no tomorrow, haha!

I'd say the 510. Broken record I know, so I'll elaborate.

When I searched for a vape to buy, the 510 got the most and best feedback. Its small, simple, and Ive only had 1 atty die in about 3 months of use (one month being a semi-smoker tho). It has multicolored LED's, and is fairly cheap. Also the only one with a PCC (exept blu...but just no). The PCC is, IMO, a must. I carry a fully assembled 510 in my mini right pocket, and keep a charging batt. The PCC lasts a day at least, and saves the hassle of keeping a few stray batts in ones pocket, or bringing a charger everywhere, as well as holds 2 carts and an extra atty. I will mention, however, that after 5 months of use the lid has become a bit damaged, and sometimes needs to be bent to close properly. Also pops open from time to time. I'm not the most careful person, and my girlfriend sits on my lap a bunch. But still, its not the most durable thing. Still a must have.

2 batts, 1 atty, 3 blank carts (with poly or PTB), a 10ml bottle and a PCC with a charging wall outlet makes the best/smallest starter pack IMO.
