Hi Guys,

I need your help please. I only started vaping in January and bought and sold TONS of different gear since then as I wanted to find what was right for me. I have finally settled with going out/at home set ups which all ended up being 14 mm and 16.5mm 10 Watt VV/VW Ego batteries with Mini and Aeorotanks.

I popped Unicoils from the UK into these tanks and together they make this new vaper happy.

I also started fiddling with mixing my own juices and this is the only time, I wish I would have a dripper so I would not have to keep putting juices in and out of tanks until they are right. My initial thought was to find one dripper which will fit onto the ego batteries BUT I guess I do not want to learn to wrap coils on such a tiny set up. I also noticed that many suggested not to use cotton wicks, which I prefer so i am a little lost here.

So I am torn between sizes. For building ease, larger would be better BUT I am also concerned about weight as I was struggling with 19 mm batteries or Box Mods. I also like pretty devices :)

Any advice for one Dripper and one matching mod would be highly appreciated. Oh I also did not like the wide bore's from the Subtank or the Delta 19, that I had tried.

One dripper and one mod? That's it? Well... at the risk of sharing the Kool-Aid, it would have to be a Reo and bottomfed Derringer (nevermind that I have two).

If boxes aren't your jam, I'd have to roll with a Poldiac and MMV OverOne.

I have personally never used these, but have often heard that a cheap, easy solution to juice tasting is the Bridgeless Atomizer. It's basically a cartomizer with no wick, that you can drip your juice into and taste. These are kind of 'old school', but they are still sold. Here's a link to the 2.0 ohm Bridgless atties available at MadVapes, which are currently in stock:
Bridgeless 510 Atomizer, 2 ohms
These will work fine on an eGo type battery setup, and don't require any rebuilding or fiddling. However, they typically don't last very long. I'm sure you can find tutorials on youtube with regards to their care and maintenance.

Haha, yes only ONE dripper since I haver everything else in multiple lots and really only wanted something for a quite half an hour a day to taste juices or to enjoy some extra peace and flavor. I do not care for huge clouds. The Bridgless has me intrigued as it looks lovely and easy but what is the wicking material? It also does not appear to have great reviews?

Sorry, I didn't bother looking at the reviews before putting up the link. I'm sure if you do an advanced search on this forum for titles containing the words 'bridgeless atomizer', you'll find plenty of suggestions about where to find the quality products. Bridgeless atties don't have any wicking material at all. It's just a coil inside a cartomizer. They're cheap, they're already built to specific resistances, and they're easy to use. The main reason I suggested them is because rebuilding can be frustrating when you're just starting out. It takes a lot of patience and homework. Besides knowing which mod and dripper to get, you'll need an ohm meter and a good deal of knowledge about Ohm's Law and battery safety. I thought you might appreciate having another option.
That said, if you're interested in getting into rebuilding, I would suggest starting with an Igo-L, which is an inexpensive, single coil dripper.
Youde UD IGO-L Rebuildable Atomizer
You'll probably want some higher gauge wire to start with, like 32 or 30, in order to build a high enough resistance to match your eGo setups. If you want to dive into mechanicals, my first was the HCigar Sentinel M16 clone, which can be found at many vendors for around 20 bucks, and which I still use daily. You'll also want a good high-drain battery and an ohm meter. A search on this forum can provide tons of links to battery safety threads, advice and blogs, which I strongly suggest reading before going that route.
By the way, if you decide to check out the bridgeless atty, you'll want to get something called a 'drip shield' to go along with it. They go over top the atty and help keep liquid from leaking out onto your battery. They're also very cheap. And, the drip tips from your tanks will fit onto the tops of the atties.

you could get a dna40 mod. hana mods or vaporshark are good. I like the convenience of them because they have protection and you can use the board itself as an ohm-meter. just build whatever coil and stick it on the mod without having to test the coil etc. as for an easy dripper to learn/build on, i would reccommend a stillare or the sod 5k, if you dont want to spend 100$+ on the RDA there are clonse of the stillare and science of dripping 5k for 20$ and under as well (which is what I have and havent had problems with either).

vaporshark just released a nice compact dna40 model for cheaper than their rdna40 model as well. So I would suggest that mod, it's all youll need to rebuild, wont need to go out and buy an ohm meter or worry about screwing up your mod because it just wont fire if you build it wrong, and the safety features prevent you from blowing yourself up.

May I ask you where you got those drip tips for your Derringers? Looks like they fit over the raised part of the top cap.

I use an Igo-W+ for tasting on my Vapor Flask Clone. I just build it single coil and slide a piece of cotton under the coil (not through the coil like you normally would with an rda), drip, taste, toss piece of cotton and start fresh with a new flavor. The 510 atomizer looks like it would be more what you're looking for though...I may have to try it, thinking about it... lol

I'm really enjoying the El Cabron. You can run single or dual and in single coil with the airflow closed about 1/2 to 3/4 I'm getting very nice flavor and still getting good vapor production. I'm not saying its the ultimate flavor chaser or anything but it is versatile, authentic and reasonably priced (I got it for $55 but I think the new run is like $59)

Okay, here's my two cents worth. Yesterday I bought 3 RDA's and didn't spend $50. For RDA's I would suggest a clone Marquis, Vulcan, or Plume Veil. They are all 22mm RDA's and can be purchased for $25 or less as clones. (Unless you want to spend over $100 for an authentic) Check out kidneypuncher.com, or vapingwalrus.com. Don't know that I would suggest buying on line from China; I did and I hope I don't regret it. For a VV/VW I would suggest either the iStick 30W or the iStick 50W. I have the 30W, and the 22mm RDA's fit perfect on top of it.
