Logged on this morning and Goodness Me! We've been quiet lately. So I thought I'd try to get to know everyone, and have some fun, by finding out your answer to this question:

If you ruled the world (the whole world, and everyone had to do what you said) what three laws would you pass universally?

I'll kick it off.

1. Cigarettes would be outlawed immediately, and a free ecig and 2 weeks supply of juice would be given to everyone interested in making the transition to vaping, rather than just quitting. For those who didn't want to vape, 2 months supply of patches or gum would be provided free of charge.

2. Gay marriage would be legalised and recognised equally to heterosexual marriage, with all the same rights and responsibilities.

3. Redheads would be revered as elite, and finally acknowledged as the awesome people they are. They would also be given their souls back (for those not in the know, google "gingerkids"). This would only apply to natural redheads, so as to avoid a world of everyone wanting to be part of the cool crowd.

So, over to you, groovers! What would YOU do to make the world a better place?

If? :p
1) TINSTAAFL - There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch

2) Common Sense isn't but over regulation and writing of too many laws is even worse so laws would have to be written so as to be able to be understood by a 3rd grader and no more than one 8.5" x 11" page single spaced 12 pt font. I'd like there to not be huge libraries of laws but don't have a good number in mind. You definately wouldn't need lawyers to interpret and argue them.

No Number 3 yet but leaning towards 3) Treat others as you would like to be treated and suffer the consequences if you treat others badly.

Just something I came up with pretty quickly and obviously subject to change at a whim.

A good fun topic, thanks :)

Hanging out in CA for now
Just saw this Elph. What a neat question.

1. Going to jail would be less like a vacation and more like the punishment it's intended to be. Yes, the folks in jail are human beings and I don't mean they should only live on bread, water and a wool blanket. But it irks me when I read stories about criminals getting college degrees (among other things) in jail at tax payer expense while we have senior citizens who have to choose between their meds, A/C in hundred degree heat or being able to eat a healthy meal. Must say I agree with the pink boxers that are all the rage in Maricopa county :D

2. Term Limits for ALL elected officials regardless of political affiliation. Nuff said.. LOL

3. Gotta agree with Elph on number 3. Red Heads Rule! (I saw that episode of Southpark Elph)
