Thanks to Urbionic for figuring this out, and providing the illustration:
The problem is (likely) that the carto connection (inner part) is not making contact with the battery connector of your mod.
There are a few ways to solve this issue, but 2 that seem to work regardless of your exact MOD are:
1. Modify the carto. This involves removing all the rubber components from the inside of the carto, and pressing the inner part down (from the side you vape) so that the connector side extends to make contact with the battery of your MOD.
While I've personally tried this method it is not without risk. Mainly you'll face:
- Battling to get the carto to work nicely after you've modded it, and you could potentially end up with mouth fills of juice.
- flatout breaking the carto.
2. The new "Urbionic fix" as illustrated in the diagram. Very easy and works!
Instructions:
2.1 Find / Fashion a small piece of wire. This can be pretty much any wire that conducts electricity.
2.2 Make sure the wire is big enough to cover the inner section of the carto side connection. But small enough so that it doesn't extend beyond that potentially causing a "short"
2.3 Hold the carto upside down and carefully position the wire on the top. Hold it nice and level so you're sure the wire does not extend beyond the inner piece. If its too long - remove it and reshape / cut it to fit.
2.4 With the carto upside down - screw in your mod from the top. This way you can be sure the wire won't move around as you screw in your mod.
2.5 Test it. If its good you should have contact and get vapor immediately.
