Thats not too huge. My wife wears an 8 ring, and her hands look tiny!

It's decent size! I can't buy cheap women's rings, bracelets or watches because my hands are too big. I played piano growing up and I can span an octave plus 2 with one hand (10 white keys for people who aren't familiar with music theory)

Absolutely! I'll only put stones on half of them. The rest will just have the brass inlay strip and a logo! What size ring do you wear? It will give me an idea what finger size we are talking. My husband wears a 12 and can get it with no problems. Don't let what it looks like in my hands deceive you, I can't wear women's watches, bracelets or most rings because I have very large hands for a lady! I wear a size 9 ring. Lol

Don"t know ring size, but I wear extra large gloves if that helps.

Pretty sure my hubby does too. I need to track down someone with gigantic hands to try. The hole is drilled with a 3/4" bit if that helps!

My hands are tight in XL gloves and 3/4" diameter hole is more than enough for me. Unless someone's really getting in that bottle hole. But you really shouldn't have to stick too much of your finger up in there considering the bottle is close to the door...

(That took a couple re-wordings before it didn't sound dirty )

Believe me I know about the big hands. I always get told I have big hands I think I was suppose to be a man lol. I wear a 10 1/2 to 11 if I go down 25lbs I can wear a 9 1/2 to 10. I also have to get the expensive jewelry and then have it sized up. I make sure they put a thick piece in so it don't break so that cost me even more. Now about them tank mods lol. I just can't wait for photo's. :rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll::rickroll:

I missed the wood pic posting party thread but I wanted to suggest this. Being in OK you might be able to get this cheep from Texas, it grows like a weed on the ranches and is generally considered a nuisance. The tress are too small to produce large pieces of lumber for general use but it would be perfect for little PVs. I'm sure you could find perfect blanks of it online somewhere for a lot of money, but you could get it super cheep from the farmers themselves if you could find a way to contact them. There was a show in San Angelo TX a few years back with all mesquite wood artisans, that might be a place to start searching. There is so much wood available I highly doubt they would be adverse to sharing there supplier information.

Thinking I'm going to talk to him about matching wood. Some will look cool mixed, but I'm thinking some won't.
Some woods definately won't match well but a lot will. I think it's a cool idea and have seen other mods that look good done like that :D I think whatever your hubby thinks looks good together is a good idea, he's the wood guy :)

Ya those would look cool. And the price would be right for these smaller wooden creations

I've convinced him to let me order matched wood for the caps so these will all be one wood products this round. He's a structure and function guy, not so good with aesthetics really so I had to make the call. I might mix and match a little once the parts are in my hands for the next round!

It is hard to guess what people may like regarding various woods. Some combinations may look beautiful to you but ugly to others. I think your idea for the first run is better in making matching bodies and caps. You might be better off letting buyers order the different woods themselves instead of having them pre-made. Less of a chance in getting stuck with combinations that are not desirable.

That's what I was thinking! Great minds right! :)
