i have this issue where i love almost every new flavor i try, but quickly become bored of it within a week if i use it as an adv. i had a similar problem with analogs, ive smoked almost every variation of every brand at one time or another. sometimes i would even walk around with up to 7 or 8 different packs of cigs!

i started off on a simple atomizer that required me to add a few drops every 10-20 minutes. this was amazing because i could have 5-6 flavors at a time and switch whenever i wanted. but, i quickly became tired of adding drops all the time, especially since it is near impossible while driving.

this led me to purchasing a dct tank. at first i loved it because now i only have to refill flavor once every week or so. but, before i knew it, i was in need of variation. i tried to solve this by buying a new tank so i could have 2 flavors on hand without the pain of an atomizer. now i find myself with 5 different tanks. this solution woud be great if tanks didnt cost 13 dollars at my local store! i am a low budget vaper (i work at a gas station) so i cant keep buying tanks every time i want to try a new flavor

since my knowledge of heating elements is, well, almost none, i am asking this community to lend me some advice on what would be a good choice. the only other experience i have is with a jumbo cartomizer, which is a carto that holds 3mls of juice at a time, and the opinion of clearos from my local store. they dont like them very much, since they supposedly get a burnt taste very easily

i forgot to mention i am currently using an evic atm so there should be very little problem on compatibility with any heating element

and also darkhood- i am less worried about finding an adv right now, since i never get sick of flavors when i am not forced to use them for more than a day straight. i guess i would really prefer a system that requires me to refill 1-2 times a day, maybe 4 at most.

one more sidenote- i am taking an average of 200 puffs a day on an average of 4.4 volts/9.7 watts on a 2ohm dual coil carto tank

These little critters are considered "old school" and get a bit of distain - in fact, I never heard much about them until I went looking for sometime small since CE4/Kangers don't fit on my mod w/o an adapter. They hold the juice in a vacuum (like a syringe), so if not filled correctly can epically fail (think of pulling the plunger back out a a syringe) - that said, out of 15 I've had one fail, but I'd already used it 2x.

I primarily used carto tanks, but I like to switch flavors a lot and I can't afford more tanks. I've currently got about 9 of these filled with different juices and having great luck with them (they also come 5 to a box, which is handy):

im very confused on how that thing works... or what it even is

plus i feel like any syringe-like things on my ecig should be avoided in my situation.... unless they are really that good

You use a blunt tip syringe (a sharp would actual damage it). This might make it more understandable:

I know this is generally considered a step back around here, but are you sure you don't want to give cartomizers another chance?

EDIT: I saw the part about the jumbo cartos. I'm talking the smaller ~1mL ones.

I sound just like you: I can't vape a single flavor all day. It wasn't an issue with cigarettes because $$$ kept me from going crazy on those and there wasn't a lot of variation. But yeah, when vaping I tend to want to switch flavors all the time. I too had the army of tanks, except they were clearos. I found myself carrying upwards of 10mL on me just to have 4-5 flavors on hand.

I eventually settled on a metal slim cigarette case with 10 cartos in it. I keep singles of fruity flavors I love but can't stand more than a few puffs at a time. Doubles of my two tobacco blends, and three menthols/mints. Point is I go through them give or take evenly, and I can get three days out of the whole setup before I need to refill them. Unless your puffs are gargantuan compared to mine I vape a lot more than you, too.

Refilling 10 cartos is not bad if you've only got to do it every three days, and I really can't think of another way to provide that many flavors without carrying more juice than you need at a time. Adding another flavor is not expensive. My plan is to have twice as many in action eventually, and stretch my refills to once a week.

Seriously, it sounds like exactly what you're looking for. Many flavors in a small package. You can switch flavors at will. Cheaper than two of your tanks. You're not lugging around more stuff than you need to be. You can go days without refilling.

try the vivi nova.
you basically just unscrew the cap off of the top and then you can just pour juice down the side.
don't get it in the middle or it won't work.
the wicks are on a replaceable head, you can get replacement wicks but the vivi nova comes with 3 in different ohms
if you get sick of a flavor you just kind of wash out the wick and tank and dry it then you're good to go

ViVi Nova Tank Cartomizer | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

I have two of the mini vivi novas, my husband has two more and I hardly use anything else.

The ViVi Nova: Assembly and Care | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes
virgin vapors has some info on assembly and care if you want to check it out

I normally have one flavor in one vivi, a different flavor in the other one, and so I switch them out so I don't get sick of the same flavor over and over again.
and after like a day or two I change juices just because I get tired of stuff too

i usually take 7-10 second puffs, my evic is programmed to taper up to 5 volts at 5 sec then taper back down to 4.3 at 10

and on the small cartos- how long does it typically take you to empty one out? because i refilled my jumbo cartomizer once or twice a day and that holds 3 mls

I go through a normal cartomizer about three a day.

1) You, sir, are a vaping machine. Kudos.
2) From what I understand, because there is so much filler in those mega cartos, they can get too dry to vape off of before they are actually dry. What I mean is, you may go through 2-3 refills of a mega carto in a day, but you're not necessarily vaping 6-9 mL of juice a day. Do you really go through nearly a 10mL container of juice daily??? It's easier to judge by how quickly you buy juice.

that is a very good point about the filler i did notice a clash of flavors (coconut plus mint chocolate plus peppermint is an unpleasant suprise) but at the same time it is too difficult to actually measure how much liquid i go through since i buy 30ml bottles and switch flavors between every fill, so theres barely a dent in the bottle.

that being said i have only tried the jumbo one time before i passed it on to my gf.

i havent mentioned this before and im not sure if it matters, but i use 24-26mg nic trength

In response to ur question and pm - a vivi nova is basically an oversized clearomizer w/ replaceable heads that you can easily take apart and clean. I have 3 and rotate diff't flavors in them every couple days - just take apart and rinse, dry and ur good to go. You can rinse the wicks and dry burn the gunk off and the old flavor is completely gone. They come w/ 3 heads - a 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8. I buy the 5-pack of 2.4 heads and use em @ 4.8 volts - lasts me 3-4 months easy, each one will last a good month before it needs replacing and if u want u can also rebuild them or change the wicks to cotton, hemp, etc.

Right now they are the best alternative to carto tanks which I never liked due to the taste and can't use. I use 3 vivi's and a 306 bridgeless for dripping/testing flavors. That said, there's a new tank coming out very soon, in next few days hopefully that's a pyrex bottom coil atomizer tank w/ replaceable heads called the kanger protank. I'm anxiously awaiting them as they look to be a significant upgrade/solution to the vivi's which def have some issues when it comes to wicking and dry hits. I get a dry hit every now and then but the big problem for me is that they do tend to rob flavor. However, for $10 for the tank and 3 heads you really can't go wrong giving them a shot.
