I purchased a igo carto. I know it will look funny but will it work the same as if I used on igo battery. I like the idea of the igo but don't want to buy just yet. Want to make sure I like the carto's first. Thanks in advance for the info.

I've used one on a V4L battery, and yeah it looked funny, but it worked. It pushed the post down in the battery though. Not really a big deal, just had to wiggle it back up a hair when it came time to put a reg carto back on it.
You not going to get igo (808) on a eog (510 ) batt sorry. However an ego cone will fit the igo so all you have to add is 808 atty/carto I recommend getting the igo batts they last longer between charges. but I not a fan of the igo cartocones
I don't think you will get the same taste and th on a kr808d-1 battery. maybe on a pass thru.

I have two I'm using on standard KR8 batteries, the draw is real airy, and it seems to burn through the battery life pretty quick, with a drop off in taste after a few hours of me vaping (not a heavy vaper, 1-1.5 ml / day)
I did the same thing you're thinking of though, and looking at buying an IGO now in a few days
