I have been searching and searching and cannot find an answer. I have a vamo v2, and my igo reads 9.9 no matter what unless I pull up the pin on my vamo, and I am not comfortable doing that all the time. I have tried to no avail, to push the center pin down. Does anyone have ANY suggestions? I have read about this problem with the vamo, but I can't find a solution anywhere.

Vamos have a problem with the original washer that comes with it. It deteriorates and softens over time. In order to fix it you can go to HomeDepot and purchase #60 washers from the plumbing section and replace the old washer under the firing pin. $2 and change. Just did it the other day, works better than before.

I had the same problem with my iTastes, then read a thread where an igo-L user unsrcewed the center screw a hair and thwacked on the screw with a philips screwdriver and hammer, I used the bottom of a stapler since I was at the office.

It pushed the center pin down enough and can now use it on all my batteries without having to pull up on the firing pin.

If anything, I'd leave the screw ALL the way in, as you'll be less likely to .... up the threads

I wasn't sure if the inside of the post needed to move independently from the outside, or if it's one solid piece.
