igo L questions

I've been using the igo L with 3mm silica and 32g kanthal. I drilled out the airhole to 1.5mm but now the hole sits directly at the base of the drip well so I'm thinking if I make it much bigger im going to start cutting into the o-rings. just ordered 2mm ekowool and 30g kanthal so i can try more wraps and still use it on my zmax v3 which wont go lower than 1.3ohms. any suggestions to make more clouds? so far im loving it except for the random harshness I'm getting which i think might be just my coil getting slight hot legs or something...

Got a pic of your coil setup? That might help figure out the problem. Have you tried a micro coil with it?

with my igo l the air hole is already very low. Barely above the deck. id suggest a small hole near where you coil sits when wired up and vaping. Though i hear stainless steel is a pain to drill

heres the current setup I'm trying to enjoy. it ohms out at 1.8, air hole is as close as possible and still getting a bit of a harsh vape.



did a micro coil but i only have 32g wire currently so it came out to like 2.4ohms. worked very well regardless at 12 watts.

I had no issue drilling it with a hand drill, the bit was slightly tapered at the tip so it fit quite well.
I might order another and transform my current one into a dual coil cap and then do what you suggested to the new cap.
