Just got the Igo-L in the mail today, first rda. Been banging Kanger 2's like a Pro for some time now. This thing on the other hand is out of this world difficult for me for whatever reason. I'm using 3mm silica wick, 32 gauge A1 Kanthal and a Vamo V2. Can't get the thing to read my build as I am clearly building it wrong. 9.9ohms message means a short, though I have religiously followed all directions on youtube and scoured these forums for some directions but have yet to find an answer.

Can anyone please direct me on how to build the Igo-L using the mentioned tools. Any help would be much appreciated!

For starters a 0.0 ohm reading would mean a short. A 9.9 ohm reading is a open circuit, most likely a broken coil or the center pins on the 510 connectors not making contact with each other. At least that is how my vamo v2 reads the ohms in those situations. Seems like tracking down that problem should come first.

Check the pin where it screws in the atty, make sure nothing in there is touching.

If nothing obvious presents itself you might try removing your coils and checking the atty to make sure there's not a hard short somewhere in the atty itself.

If it's still shorting with no coils on there, and other stuff fires fine on the mod...check any and all in the atty posts you can.....gotta be in the atty somewhere.

hey sometimes one atty can work on a vamo and another won't.......the pin on the VAMO is probably squished down a bit from use.....9.9 means it isn't reading anything connected so the IGO isn't even touching the center pin in the VAMO.......what version VAMO do you have.....this was very common on the V2s........

3mm Silica in a tight space of an Igo, I'd recommend building your coils via drill bit and using something like organic cotton, just thinking of the space provided you may be touching a post etc.

It may be the pin issue but you're Pro Tanks work?

Thinking about it the pin issue since Igo are flat bottoms where as Pin out on Pro Tanks.

I have both the Igo L and the fogger V2. I have read most people think the Fogger is a huge PIA. I agree but I only built two coils before I got it right and love this thing. The Igo L, however, I have tried 20+ different builds, watched every single video I can find, drilled the hole to 1/16, tried cotton, silica, ekowool...nothing works. Vertical coil, horizontal coil, single coil, dual coil...nothing and I mean nothing works. I have decided I don't want to drip anyway. Between my fogger and Russian 91%, why bother with a dripper.
