I just got my brand new IGO L in the mail today... Let me start off by saying that I love the rba it hits great, Great flavor etc... My question is this

I wrapped my coil earlier today and when i checked it on my SID it was showing 2.1ohms right after I built it... I just checked it about an hour ago and it was reading 1.5 ohms...

Is it normal for the coils to drop impedance or is there a problem with my setup??

Hmm... I checked them they are snug... The impedance is up and down... Do i need to scrap the wire and stuff and try again??

I would redo it then, when the resistance varies it's almost alway a loose connection that cause it.

FYI....A loose connection would cause resistance to go up- not down. Initially, the OP said his resistance was dropping- this could be a coil wrap unintentionally going to ground. In this case you would make sure that no part of the coil has unintended contact with a post or any other metal.

OP then states ohms are fluctuating... this could be caused by a loose connection or an intermittent unintentional ground.

You should also try wrapping micro coil for it .Best vape IMO :) Glad you got it figured out !

I've got a microcoil on my Igo-L, and I love it! As long as it's wicking right. >_> Right now I've got a 5/64" id coil, 28AWG, 7/8 turns, with 2.5mm silica in the middle of it. Obviously the middle part of the wick is getting dry and the tails are still rather saturated. How would you recommend wicking it? I have some "100% natural" cotton, though I'm not sure how clean it is.

Good you got it up and running again. I love my iGo-L, it can hang with anything, and I much prefer it over another way more expensive dripper I have.
It's also excellent with a mesh wick, which is how I have mine set up at the moment.

Ah! I loved mine with SS sleeved silica AND in only SS mode. It's pretty nice!

Go to CVS and get some sterilized cotton and then check out the RM2 rebuild thread in Reo forum.Just make one end of wick longer and little thicker and tuck it between posts and you will be good to go.

I agree with Vash on the CVS sterilized cotton. I use this, or 100% cotton cheesecloth-which is usually available at most grocery stores
