I have both MVP v1 and v2 and recently received my IGO-L, just wanted something to tinker with. Been using a Protank 1 and 2, working fairly well, but not the performance i expected. anyway, wound my first coil and was excited to test the resistance on the MVP 2 and was disappointed that i couldn't get an ohm reading. at first i got no reading at all, then i got the 'NON' readout. put it on my MVP 1 and it fired so i tried it and finally experienced what i've been hoping for - smooth, clean draw, vapor and flavor. a bit concerned that i'm flying blind, so to speak, re:resistance. am wondering if the MVP 2 has circuitry that prevents firing or recognizing lower ohms. i'm a rookie to all of this but had hoped the MVP 2 would help me avoid buying an Ohm meter. i built a coil for my Protank and it reads 1.5 Ohms and fires fine but i'm sure i can improve. perhaps someone has some knowledge of the MVP 2 as i've seen very few
threads here concerning the equipment. i'll never go high end but may pick up a mech once i've gotten the knack of coil building.
