Igo W replacement center post.

So I just got in some copper center post for the Igo W and was wondering how I could pop out the stock one. I have tried before, not too hard but it was unsuccessful. Has anyone done this before? If so, what tools or technique did you use? Any advice is much appreciated!

They are a press fit into the insulator. If you have a vise, that and a socket can be used to press it out. Same with a drill press... or a hydraulic or arbor press. If you have neither... a socket to support the atty body, a flat nose punch and hammer... you can "tap" it out.

FYI, worked like a charm! I used the socket method. Tapped out the stock center post with a small hammer, tapped the copper one in the same way. The copper post was a bit wider at the base so it took some work, but now my atty hits hard...and smooth...if that makes sense at all....either way, thanks again for the help!
