Hello, I have an Igo w6 quad coil. I am having trouble with the quad coil build. I am running it at the moment with a single coil and it is a cloud machine, but I want to build the quad just for the experience. I am copying a build from you tube. The build is 4 micro coils of 24 guage A1 Kanthal, 10 wraps around a 5/64th drill bit. The first coil lights up like a christmas tree but as soon as I install the other 3 coils, the coils stop heating up enough to produce vapour. I am using a Tecc telescope mechanical mod to fire it. Any help would be appreciated.

thats where advertising the best of something helps sell an item....for example, hamburger places, they show this big juicy well made burger on the TV and you run off to the place and order one and you get this flattened mashed thing that kinda looks like a burger :)

go with 28 ga. and you will get better performance...
also, what is the amount of VG in your juice.... a hi VG percentage produces more vapor...

Hi, I'm using an 18650 battery and the coils meter at .0.4 ohms

You need to be much more specific about what battery. Model number and brand? Do you know the amp limit of your battery?

At that ohm reading, you need a 30 amp battery like a Sony VTC4 or Sony VTC5.

I'm using an Ifest 18650.

Sorry, still not enough info. What color is the battery? What is on the battery label? How many mah? Efest makes a dozen different 18650 batteries and they all have a different amp rating.

This is scarey. To be subohming at 0.4 ohms and not know the specific model of battery you are using and its amp limit can be catastrophic.

Okay, first of all, I'm not a newbie to vaping, only to this forum, so don't steam in with your patronising comments. I've been into it for years and probably longer than a lot of people on this site including re-buildables'.I have never had a battery issue and am well aware of the dangers of sub ohming. As I said in my first post, the problem was that my quad build was not firing hot enough. After reading one useful post I decided to check the battery I was using and found it was producing a lot less than 30 Amps which could be either due to damage or it's just simply worn out. I have now ordered a new set of 30 amp Sonys.
