IGO-W7 Problems

Been using & very happy with the IGO-W dripping atomizer on top of my Provari Mini (Kanthal 32ga wire & 3mm braided silica wick) for the past 3 years. Wanted to try something new and bought an IGO-W7 & IGO-W14 dripping atomizers. This purchase proved how out of touch I've been with the vaping community & technology. The W14 is HUGE; haven't even tried to build it. Are there any mods with adjustable voltage that fit this thing's diameter? The W7 is a better fit on top of the Provari Mini but what ever build I try, I get a E1 code (short circuit). I get that code on the IGO-W7 even with a single coil build that works on the IGO-W. With no coil at all on it, I don't get a code so I figure its not internally short circuited. Do you think I got a bad unit or am I doing something wrong. Any help is well appreciated. Thanks.

Have you checked to make sure your coil isn't touching the sides of the W7? Looks pretty tight in there to me from looking at some pics.

Thanks for the link. Yes, Ive made sure the connections do not touch the sides. I find it strange the same coil set up that works on the IGO-w does not work on the IGO-W7.

That is incredibly odd. Have you tried it with your voltage setting down to 2.9V?
