Ijoy Diamond Mini

I just bought several of these Diamond Mini, I hope they work well on TC. Anyone else have one of these? What are your thoughts?

From my understanding it is the exact same thing as the original diamond mod except it only accepts 18650 batteries. Same chip as the original diamond (also used in the captain mods) so the TC should preform the same as those, which probably will be easier to find feedback on.

it's apparently more improved than the predecessor, more over powered on TC, way more. That's why I thought I'd ask those who may have it already. I've watched DJSLB video and he shows how to tone it down with a manual TCR.

YouTube reviewers only cover a mod when it comes out, and never cover the firmware updates. The rest of the mods with that chip has had firmware updates since their release, which will very likely be the same as what this mod is running now. That is why I don't pay any attention to the YouTube reviews nearly as much as a regular guy giving an honest opinion, and the regular guy can offer insight on a mod after firmware updates.

I hope they fix it with firmware updates. I don't mind setting the TCR, just would like it to work well as is

I reported to the feedback on ijoy regarding temp control on this unit. I noticed they just provided a recent update, I hope on the next firmware update they fix this issue. My diamond minis are still at fasttech

I finally got my Ijoy Diamond Mini. I read the instructions to update the firmware and it's not entirely correct. It took me about a minute to figure out how to update it and I managed to get it going.

So i've been liaising with an Ijoy Rep and discussing about the TC, I told them the temperature on TC is very high. Not sure if they can do anything about it. Time will tell if they will put a fix on the next firmware.


So far still tuning I got it set for TCR 60 and lowered the temp to 390F which feels about 430F. This mod is ok, I paid cheaper than my wismec rx gen3 dual. For wattage only this thing rocks and it's super fast ramp up, minimal lag on firing. Very smooth vape for wattage only. But that's not what I bought it for, I got it mainly for TC. Still tuning I will report back if I change anything.
