ikenVape cartomizers vapor production

Got a pack of ikenVape cartos to try due to great reviews on this forum.
IKV MEGA KR-808 Cartomizer

First of all, i am still a newbie so there is always a possiblity i am doing something wrong..... i also want to say i am very happy with the delivery time from ikenVape, i wish everyone else ships as fast as them.

So here goes, i thought the vapor production of these cartos are not as great as i was hoping for. i have been using the boge LR cartos and the ikenVape cartos dont produce as much of vapor. One thing thats different is, the boge is standard size, and the ikenVape the mega ones.

Could i be doing something wrong?

Oh yea i should have mentioned that...

I am using V4L kr808, and yes, i have tried different batteries (all kr808 though), pretty much the same result. I do get more vapor with manual batteries but i do usually get more vapor with manual so.....

The kr808 carto is 3.0Ω, the LR Boge--2.0Ω. It's all about the wattage--heat/power generated by your atty. The formula is simple: Wattage = voltage squared divided by resistance. 3.0Ω carto on a 3.7v battery = 4.6 Watts. 2.0Ω carto on the same battery = 6.8 Watts. LR cartos run much hotter thus providing more vapor, warmth and throat hit.

So given the same battery, the lower the Ω, the more vapor? I couldnt really figure out from ikenvape's website what these cartos are, in terms of ohms, and not all vendors display that info. Anyways, good to know, learn something new everyday. Thanks!!

Yep, the lower the ohms, the hotter the vape. That said, I wouldn't use 2.0Ω cartos on V4L batteries, that's pushing it. I use my Boge 2.0Ω cartos on my eGo batteries (3.2v) and I love them. I also like IkenVape's Premium Platinum 510 cartomizers (2.5Ω).

Yeah, CB, listen to Katya, the V4L batts don't throw out enough wattage for Isaac's cartos, its time for a battery upgrade, and I say that as a former V4L user who found the better vapes that has kept me off the gretzkys.

It keeps me away from the important stuff I was overwhelmed by the amount of posts this place can generate in a couple of hours in the beginning. So I weaned out the fluff and stuck with the educational stuff so to speak. I guess we could say quality over quantity.

Just an update, today i used different juices and have to say the vapor production is not bad at all, as good as the boge or bloog i have used!! Just wished ikenvape offers also standard kr808 size, in addition to the mega....

Where did this thread come from?!
I'm sorry CB, we used to deal with standard KR's but dealing with Kanger can be a pain. If there's enough request for them, I'll be more than happy to have them made with the 808 Mega orientation, just minus the Mega.
