IKV 510 Cartomizer Gold V2 question

This carto comes with a "protective O ring" on top of the filler. Forgive me for my iken noobiness, but what is the purpose of this? Do you remove the o-ring when filling? If so, do you leave it out or should you replace it before using the carto?

Yes, you can remove it before filling. It is just a ring to prevent juice from getting into your mouth. Most leave it out since it really isn't needed. I know I always leave mine off and always have. juice never gets to my mouth. Hope this helps.

If you're talking about the white soft cap, I remove it to fill the carto and either put it back on or use a drip tip instead.

Unless your talking about the white cap on top as the previous poster mentioned, the inner one is, as stated before, for juice coming out of the filler. I don't think I've received any of the ones with an inner splash ring that must be something new.
The 901s I got had one but not the 510 drip tip or drip tipless ones either.

Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking. I've just been leaving them off since I use a drip tip also and don't have a problem with juice in the mouth syndrome.

Yea my V2's don't have an "inner ring" either, only the white cap

I've been wandering from one description to the next and can't really tell the difference. I'm looking for an easily removable cap, 510 connection, and around 2.0-3.5Ω. If there is also a 'mega' version that holds a lot of liquid, that's a plus.

wylie, iken's mega standards work really well for me -- in your ohm range and hold lots of juice.

Yes the Gold V2's come with a removable white soft cap and yes there is also a Mega carto available.

The drip tip and the gold V2 are the same carto. It's just one version is sold with the drip tip and the other one is sold without it. I call them drip tip 510s and drip tipless 510s.
