Illness and vaping taste

Ive recently switched over to LR atomizers and loving them. Howver the other day every signle one of them started giving me a bad throat "burning" taste.

Then the next day, I began to get sick, just a cold really.

Now, I know my illness has nothing to do with vaping but Im wondering if anyone else have had their vaping suddenly taste bad while they were ill?

Ive had colds since vaping before without this issue.

A large part of the sense of taste is tied to the sense of smell. If you're not able to smell "correctly", nothing is going to taste right.

I have had the burnt atty hits give me a sore throat,(learning to drip with the 5v GLV2, and learning the LR atty !)
Today is also a "no taste" day for me...happens every once in a while, nose is kinda stuffy.....had to go get the peppermint juice out !

Yup par for the course. I save my unvapeables and add some menthol for those types of days.

smoking always seemed to taste different when sick... and i am finding that vaping tastes different to me when sick, too. it sure is hard to test new juice out when your sick hope you are feeling better!

You said that you've had colds before when you were a vapor, but how long have you vaped for? The sinuses take a long time to heal after stopping smoking, so each instance can be different. I'm going through my first illness right now, and it sucks. I knew it was coming a couple days before it hit me though because all my juice was making me sneeze. No other symptoms but that. I'm sure it's just that this illness is coming on differently for you, or has slightly different symptoms.

Because I hadnt experience this in just this way sicne I started vaping ( 193 days now hehe ) I was curious.

I think in the morning Ill bust out the Atomic cinnacide and vape that. I know Ill be able to taste it and hopfully it wont destroy my throat hehe.
