We started with the e-cig almost two weeks ago. We had planned on stepping down from analogs gradually till we could completely quit. I was a pack a day smoker so I figured that I could vape and cut down to maybe a half a pack a day... and so on, and so on. Well, last week we were smoking 4 analogs a day. This week we've cut back to 3 analogs a day. I'm amazed at this point that we've gone from smoking a pack a day to making a pack last all week (and we just started). I hope to... very soon... announce that I'm not buying them at all anymore.

I have to ask though... how are people spending more on vaping than they did on smoking? Even after buying the device (eGo 900) and juice for a week... we still managed to save $15.00 the first week. I'm already seeing a huge savings this week as well. Is there something lurking around the bend that's going to cost me a fortune in the long run that I don't know about?

I honestly have saved a TON of money so far. Looking into getting my wife one but she says its "too much work" cause im still learning how to fill effeciently(sp). That and i chain vape at home lol. so i have to top all my cartos off at night before bed.

Have you tried a tank mod? I'm wondering how easy they really are to use. If nothing else, it seems like they would be handy to hook up to a USB passthrough for vaping while on the computer at home.

Ugh, here we go. Thinking up more ways to spend $$$ on the new hobby.

Once you find something you love and stick with it, it ain't that expensive, but for those who don't do research, or quest for the best juice, all the upgrades and misc juice buying can build up cost. I spent nearly 300 on my set up, and will probably spend a good 300 more before I settle on a juice vendor.

How do you test out the juice vendors? Just buy a metric buttload of 5ml bottles and try them all from each vendor?

Yeah! Plus I have 2 people I am buying for. If it was just me. I would probably just stick with the sampler packs from V4L and be good, but new toy, new hobby, new thing to spend money I don't exactly have on!

But if you are lucky and live in a place with a brick and mortar store...

Woot! 15th post I am a full girl now!
