So, I've had a lavatube for going on 2 months now. Before that I used a series of different ego- ego-t style atomizers.

With the cartomizer I bought a tank that has a screw fill on the side and I guess you could call "rubber seals" around the cartomizer to hold it in place.

Lately I've had a lot of issues with what I've just learned is called "flooding" and did some digging around.

This thread is very useful. I recommend it to all new readers/users. (might need to look up some terms first.)

Since I can't post the questions in the forum I want to post In I'll try here even though we are "noobies".

Does anyone have any experience with some tanks that do not "leak air" and are not on the 40+ doller range. (I'm buying more than a couple and am not looking to shell out ton's of cash.)

I'd like something that "just works".

Thanks

i too second the vivi nova as i use both styles of tanks, and the vivi is definetly new user friendly.

as far as the flooding and gurgling goes its usually caused by drawing to hard, most newer users and even some vets experience this from time to time when stressed, excited, or not paying attention. unlike a cig where you can inhale till your blue in the face, you really should inhale no stronger then your normal breathing. long slow inhale and fast exhale= clouds

Somewhere out there
i have the vivi nova and the smoke tech screw tank and honestly il swear by the screw tank, cut the wicks down and trim down the atty head condom and it will vape like a dream with no gurgling, leaking or juice in mouth like some of the vivi's.I havent been happier since i got myslef into variable voltage.

Good luck.

I like the screw tank too but having a problem with one and dry hits, did you cut notches in the atty head condom or trim it all around so it is shorter? Thanks, bnrk

I'm using a dual coil tank. Took a little while to get used to but now i get a week plus out of each carto. You cant hit it too hard or it will flood but you have to hit it hard enough to suck juice through the punched holes. My juice is 80vg/20vg so i use the ones with 2 holes punched in them. 3 was too many and would flood, 1 wouldn't let enough juice in and dry hit. Although they are called dual coil tanks, i use a single coil 3.0 ohm cartomizer at 5.2 volts and its perfect!
