SIGH

NOT having a very good vape day. Why?

Haven't had a cig in two months. That's great, right?

Well. My 2-month-old SVD is CRAPTASTIC as the fire button is giving me :censored:!!! I'm done!!! Sick of begging for it to fire when I ask it to!

But when my SVD "worked" "properly" I bought allllll these Aspire BDC tanks to go on it. I have no quarrel with those tanks. However, alllll those tanks hate my MVP 2.0, and yes, I pulled the pin up. A temporary solution, at best.

Suddenly the one tank that tolerates all my batteries -- My Nautilus, my work horse (with a new coil, mind you) -- DOESN'T WANT TO FIRE on my MVP and when it does I get a crazy, weak hit. MVP 2.0 is a little over two months old, BTW.

And my most recent 5-pack of BDC coils must have come from a bad batch. So I'm going through a coil a day per tank.

I've got my Kayfun but I don't want to re wick it for a regulated mod yet, and it's got a few days' worth of juice in it. Love my mech but I ROTATE HEAVILY and depend upon my regulated mods.

My Igo-L has a nice coil going, but again, I don't want to have to change out my topper every time I want to change flavors.

So please, Dear ECF, enable me to choose and buy a new regulated mod. I don't know if I have the patience for eBay today. I'm just about ready to go to a B&M and pay double for something just so I can sit and mindlessly vape.

I've got a reasonable budget. Not a ProVari or a Hana budget...not quite yet. I do have a VTR or a Seven 22 budget (online prices). Anything out there I don't know about? Please help. Losing my mind.

Just realized my mvp button is sticking!!!!!!! Aiiigh.

What's your exact budget? It sounds like you are dripping, using RBAs, and using clearos. I think the best regulated device for you would be a newer 30 watt mod. I have an Evic Supreme and I like it. You could also get something like the Sigelei 30W (although I have no experience with that so not sure how good it is).

EDIT: And by the way, both of those devices fire down to 0.5ohms. If you use higher resistance coils the Sigelei 30W is probably best for you since it has a higher output voltage.

Are you using the same coils for the Nautilus and Aspire tanks? This could all be down to a bad batch or fake batch of coils -- except for the SVD fire problem (I have an SVD, and the same problem with it just randomly refusing to fire and/or turning itself off, along with most everyone else, apparently).

I've been having some problems with some of my glassomizers not working on my Provari, my MVP, and my VV 3s and I find that the coils are sometimes just a tiiiiiiiny bit too short, and either aren't connecting or barely connecting (and no amount of wiggling them, pulling them, etc. helps). It's incredibly frustrating, and I'm sorry you are having to deal with this while getting off the analogs!

Just got back from the B&M. Before I reply to any more wonderful comments, let the record show I bought a Hana clone. Yes I did. Cue happy dance and pray this will solve the problem!!!!

That sucks!! I love my SVD, but it's so huge. I use it as my at home vape. I have found that my K2s and 3s work better on the SVD than say, my Kayfun or my Fogger. Those I keep on my mechs.

I've been hearing a lot lately about SVD quality. When did you purchase it?

Purchased it probably the first week of May this year.

No, no. Different coils. Even playing with rebuilding them, but I think that will be saved for a VERY rainy day. Surely I got a bad batch. Just ordered a 5-pack of Nautilus coils on special through Vapor Joe ($9.99). Hoping they are a good batch.

Thanks! Yeah I was shocked to discover my BDC tanks weren't necessarily "compatible" with the MVP...as in "screw on and vape"

Congrats on the Hana clone. Haven't seen anything bad on them just that they are about as hard to find as the non clone. I grabbed a vapor shark DNA30 and am happy with that, really like the size it is stealthy. Sorry about you troubles with Innokins, they do have a 30 or is it 90 day warranty if you get them at bona fide dealer. I hat a replacement for a cool fire 2 that let me down, also a Smok Magneto that died. Pays to get some stuff at a local B&M.

Thank you, stvan1. I've been watching tons of YouTube vids on the Hana (and subsequent clones). Was not even thinking about buying one (out of self-inflicted price range) until I mentioned them and the woman at the store said, "we have those" but since they were in the mechanical section, she didn't know to show them to me. I jumped and started asking questions. Once I had it in hand, well, that was it.

Currently popped my Kayfun lite with a .8 build on 12 watts. Happy clam am I. :)

(MVP and SVD are now in their corners of shame by my empty mod boxes.)

I've actually had a number of situations where I couldn't get a tank to work on my Provari but *did* work on the MVP. Don't write that one off yet. After you get through this frustrating period where everything seems to be behaving badly, you will probably find the MVP to be a good old friend, and if it's really the MVP and not the tanks/coils, definitely try to get a replacement from your seller!

And enjoy your shiny new Hana clone!

Innokins warranty is 90 days. If you bought it at a B&M they should exchange it for you during the 90 days. I just went through that with my local B&M. They thought it was only 30 day instore. I submitted a ticket to Innokin and they actually called the store and told them 90 day. Innokin also gave me an option to send it to a local repair facility (in NC). You have to have the box with the authentication number (scratch off). They never asked me for a receipt.
