I've actually had a number of situations where I couldn't get a tank to work on my Provari but *did* work on the MVP. Don't write that one off yet. After you get through this frustrating period where everything seems to be behaving badly, you will probably find the MVP to be a good old friend, and if it's really the MVP and not the tanks/coils, definitely try to get a replacement from your seller!

And enjoy your shiny new Hana clone!
Thank you! Yeah, heart is a little broken about the MVP. But once the button stuck and kept firing (green light stayed on well after I'd released), I knew better than to gamble with it.

Just got back from the B&M. Before I reply to any more wonderful comments, let the record show I bought a Hana clone. Yes I did. Cue happy dance and pray this will solve the problem!!!!

Well you went the right route for sure. Happy you found something. That should work great for all of the different ways you are vaping. 30W devices are extremely versatile. I think I will never buy another device that doesn't fire at least 30W.

Thank you! I can already tell that switching the tanks will be well worth the "trouble." And I'm glad I got what I really want than spending $35-$70 on something I kinda like that might poop out on me in a couple months.

Ugh, yeah, definitely get that MVP replaced! I hope that you're going to find everything much smoother now. (Though, of course, where would we be without our issues to solve? it may be half the fun sometimes... but definitely not when you just want to be vaping and not tempted to pick up a nasty! :)) Here's to you and your new gear, and happy vaping trails!

Tazzle, thank you for the well-wishes. But as far as problem-solving goes, I've had a rear-end full of it, at least for the meantime. Now I can sit and vape like the vape head I am. :)

Next task is getting this igo-w cranking out plumes. May need to take some lessons on lung hitting.

I can't stand lung hits. Do you sub-ohm? I do, and I leave my airflow wide open and I still take mouth to lung hits. Every time I go for a lung hit I regret it.

Wow, I just noticed something kind of strange. I think we have been quit for the same exact amount of time. I don't think I could have made it as long as you did with the MVP. I needed sub-ohming/high wattage to really keep me vaping.

Lol, no I don't "sub ohm" in the sense I don't chase...but that's because I need to practice lung hits. But I do build ~.8 or so. I'm a middle aged woman (not that that matters at all) but in my own home if I could manage some clouds? Yeah, that'd be cool. My cats already think vapor is amazing.

That's awesome. Gratz, friend. I worked my Nemmy in there about a month or so ago. So it wasn't the MVP alone. I knew a Hana was in my future. Just didn't realize how soon ;)

No, I definitely wasn't implying or asking if you were a cloud chaser. Just if you sub-ohm. I sub-ohm and I don't cloud chase. I strictly do it for throat hit and flavor.

LOL! My first husbands cat is living with us temporarily while he is in between houses. He does NOT like the vapor. He hides from it. He went from a smoking house to a vaping house and poor mancat is so confused:blink: He has been an exemplary house-guest though. Even if he chases the clouds, and then hides from them.

As far as regulated mods, I have a Hana Modz Dna 30 clone, Tesla, Vamo V3 and a Lavatube V2.5. Out of those I prefer my DNA 30 hands down. I have been using my Fogger V4 with a sub ohm build at 25 watts. The beautiful thing about this clone is you can literally use anything on it. Everything I have fits and fits flush. I even tried my Protank 2 (2.2 ohms) for S's and G's at 18 watts and it was far better than on my other VV/VW's. But I'm one of those ppl who's looking for the bigger clouds And good flavor.

Well then, I guess I do sub-ohm!! /brushes shoulder

;)

Honestly I've still got so much to learn before I figure out what ohm does it for me. So I just kinda do whatever my gear will let me. But you've got something with the watts. Nothing like knowing you can push a button and crank out some power. :)

I'm sure you will figure it out quickly. I actually never tried a high ohm/high voltage build. I just really like my low ohm/low voltage build so I haven't felt the need to try anything different. I might give it a try though...
