If I never find a DIY recipe, it's OK as they're available cheaply priced with a local and online vendor. Just curious about the chemistry of my favorite two.

 I AM afraid to ask after perusing the shelves here and elsewhere to find nothing remotely related to DIY Desert Gold or 7 Leaves varieties. Am I stepping on toes here? They can't be proprietary at this point as I've come across a few vendors offering their own elixir version of these two. I'd love to know what components make up these two beauties.

Have any of you come across DIY recipes on these two? Anything similar?

res125, Thanks for your version of the splendid! Glad to see you like this nice juice. And lucky for me you were willing to share the recipe! I do like what I see as a recipe. Interesting there's a touch of vinegar. On my to do list :)

This type of flavor is my break from my sweeter honey flu cured or diluted Silverthorn. When I want that tobacco flavor, it's 7 Leaves. Will let ya know how it goes when I give it a whirl in the future.

Very nice!

In the often bizarre world of flavor company interpretations of tobaccos I found FA 7 Leaves to be a reasonably good basic tobacco flavor.

I went through a phase where it was a go to primary. I could send you some recipes but look at any of my posts and you will see a common matrix of tobaccos with various rather boilerplate combinations of caramel, vanillas, creams, coffee, TA, EM that I tend to formulate most tobacco mixes in as a general pattern. 7leavez worked well in about all.

I still use it often but as a primary I eventually decided it had a somewhat acrid harsh finish I found increasingly unpleasant.

Now I typically use it as a secondary at a 25/75 ratio with my newest favorite primary TobEx Turkish.
