I'm a Neo-Dadaist/Surrealist/Ephemerist: mixed media; assemblages; found art; sculpture; installations; digital collage; video; and occasionally performance. I also write. Broaden your scope JJOOHHNN: I'm not kinky, I'm a professional.

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna try that.

I am a creative type person and would rather "make it myself". I make my own jewelry and once I start playing with my Provari and dressing it up I'm sure the jewelry maker aspect will come out to play too. Then I'll end up with something I'll love so much more then anything I can buy. :)

I'm gonna start checking out the "scrap" fabric section at walmart and fabric stores. I can usually get nice small pieces of fabric that way at a clearance price.

Happy vaping

I'm having a lot of fun. I picked up quilt blocks at Walmart for 97¢. I'm not a "girly" girl, but I got some ideas looking at what people have done on the "girly" thread.

Grace, up here we have A.C. Moore & Michaels, try places like that instead of walmart.
ocey has started a cult, a girlie arsty vaping cult

No! No! Walmart is far cheaper! You start there first and if they don't have what you want, move on to other stores. I actually start at thrift stores for most of my pieces. We have a Goodwill "Bins" store here, where they sell stuff by the pound that didn't sell at the regular Goodwill - and it's not all trash! Some things don't sell because it's the wrong season (Goodwill turns over inventory like any other store), an unusual size, out of fashion, etc. I use a lot of broken toys and buy clothes to cut up for scraps; but I also got a beautiful suede jacket for 25¢. Michaels prices are almost as outrageous as a "real" art supply store.

When you get your claws caught in the fabric, do you retract them? Or even push your paw forwards a little bit, in the knowledge that they have hooked ends? Or do you just sit there making pathetic mewing noises and yanking at them until a passing human takes pity and releases you?

Just curious, I'm doing a survey... :D

Very good work though. You considered making an Apollo rocket one, in honour of whoever it is that has the "Look, it's a spaceship" avatar? Not really your style perhaps, but it would look very awesome.

Me, need help? I am deft enough with my claws to sew and embroider. But a word of warning, I am an evolved ocelot. Pictured below ripping up an Ohm's Law Wheel (laws are made to be broken), you can see I have thumbs.

Thank you. You are correct, rockets aren't my thing, but J-Wraps and Vapor Skinz make custom wraps if you find a design you like. VS also makes a Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver: The Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver Provari Skin | Vapor Skinz

Well, you know what they say about cats with opposable thumbs, don't you? No, neither do I - every time one of 'them' has figured it out, they've been found floating face down in a saucer of milk. Even though they *definitely* left the fridge door shut.

I say run away from them while you still can. But be polite about it. :D

Thanks for the suggestion - I don't actually have a Provari. Quite happy with my Innokin SVD at the minute, and that looks quite a lot like a spaceship (circa 1890) already...

P.S. When people say "laws are meant to be broken", I'm not sure it's meant to include physics. 'They' are quite strict on that... :D

Perhaps in your dimension.

What Georg Ohm actually wrote in Die galvanische Kette, mathematisch bearbeitet before a VW fanatic purposely mistranslated the formulae.
