I am considering becoming a supporting member on ECF. You might think it was due to the fact that I truly support this forum and all that it does. This is partially true...

Mostly though it is so that I can get the official title of 'Pay It Forward Thread Staller'...

First of all, many on PIF are approaching veteran status. they have settled into their likes and dislikes
and dont want to take what they dont like or dont need, they will leave it to someone that perhaps needs it .

This does slow the thread at times , but it is not a race, it is fine. dont worry about it.

I realize that and am not truly worried... Just noticing a little trend. With a bit more experience under my belt I am hoping to one day keep up with you all and do my share as well!

I only go into the PIF in spurts. I get so sick of going to the post office...so, i have to limit myself. My postman is a rather grouchy fella, and I pretty much just leave him alone to grumble when he drops off my packages..no way would i dare to ask him to take a few back with him... And Mini is right....I only like a few certain flavors, so mainly i just tend to jump in the pif thread to try something new or just to be a part of it all. The thread does stall at times, please dont think it has anything to do with you....it's just the way it is.

Take care....and dont worry about keeping up with everyone...just do what you can when you can. That's all it's really about

Dont' worry about stalling a thread. We have all done it at one time or another, even me. You are ding great! And weekends are slow right now. Wait until the weather gets colder and the snow hits. This place will be jumping then!

In your User Settings go to Edit Profile and under optional Information-you can create your Custom User Title. At the bottom of the page choose Save Changes. Hope This Helps

It's a PM space need for us! I get sick of going through them every night and seeing which ones I need to save for shipping info, and which ones need deleting. Gets old after a while. Now I'm getting paranoid over 2000 PMs not being enough! Darn....is there another option?!?! LOL boB

I actually started an excel spreadsheet for all my addresses. When I'm sending out a bunch of packages, I just dump them into Word and it makes me nice pretty labels. Of course, I'm evidently spreadsheet .... or something too. I have to know what I've sent where, what I've bought from where, and what flavors I've tried from where.

Yeah, it's a gift...or a curse. Oh, well, my husband asked me to share it on the network tonight so he could see what he'd tried and liked. At least someone appreciates it!

I became a supporting member since I figured that was just a fraction of the money I saved becoming aware of the different vendors and prices and the money I've spent in the classifieds! And I like changing my title, Perpetual Contest Loser is my present title that I hold proudly, 21 and counting!
