Links to swaps, Wants and Needs

I am trying desperately to get the number of Stickies down and so far I'm not having any luck,lol Going to try combining some links in one thread and see how that does.

We were getting way too many of them and as much as I like to sticky, even I had to say enough,lol There are a few that will stay up for awhile then be taken off and others added when needed but I want to keep it below 10,lol

jules, people won't go there. take a look at your previous try: "links, announcements, etc" i believe that got glorious 235 views. i know there are a lot of stickies and, admit it, you love them!!! so maybe the best thing to do is look at all of them and keep the ones people use most.
or, you could stop worrying about it for a while. your forum is well-run, no flaming or disagreements; everybody is welcomed, what else can you hope for? you're doing a great job, stickies or not!

There are so many that really deserve to be stickied but then we would never see the other threads since the stickies move to each page. We'll just have to see how things go. I am always changing things,lol

If anyone can come up with a better way to sticky what needs to be and still keep other threads on the page I'm open to suggestions.

Just make TWO stickies...

A pay it forward sticky...

and a sticky for everything else you want stickied!!!

That way, we will still have the easiest access for the PIF thread, and since there would only be ONE other stickied thread, that can have a link to everything you wanted stickied... it would have to be one that you could always edit, and that only you could post on to work though. I think that would work great!

Think that would work!?!? Then everyone would know to go to ONE THREAD for all the stickies except for the PIF thread which is on it's own.
Maybe I'm not making any sense, but I think it is a brilliant idea if I do say so myself! hahaha (okay, I am just trying to hype it up here, hehe)
