You are correct, just SS mesh rolled up into a solid wick. It sounds more difficult than it is, but takes much explanation as many small things can change your success to a failure. Once you have it down, you wonder why it ever seemed hard.

What atomizer do you personally use?

About how long do those mesh wicks last? And do you have a personal favorite place to buy mesh?

.7 ohms is a VERY low resistance coil. 3 wraps is also a very small contact area for the coil on the wick, especially with a wick as skinny as the one in the Eternity. Try to get a few more wraps on the wick, a 4/5 or 5/6 wrap, your resistance will come up and you will have a lot more wire in contact with your juice. This should significantly improve your vapor production.

The vision is probably much better suited to your eGo batteries. They won't have nearly enough amperage to wake up the coil on most Gennies. It is also much easier to learn wrapping coils on silica or cotton. There is a learning curve to mesh. I don't think you will get much vapor production out of a Genesis until you get some bigger mods to screw it on to. The Eternity is a great vapor producer, I use it on a couple of my wife's smaller mods.

I'm using 1.5mm silica wicks, might it be a good idea to double it and use two of them?

The only reason I am currently only using three wraps is because I only had one piece of wire. I ordered 28g with failed research. So, I have about 15 feet of 28g sitting here not knowing what to do with it. I have a bunch of 32g coming in the next day or two.

This evening when I sat down at my PC and refilled it, the damn thing started hitting normally again. I haven't opened it at all, what could have caused this drastic change in hits?

I've had a wick last almost a month. Technically it could have been cleaned and seen some more use. I get mine at Wick & Wire you can't beat the price unless you order in bulk on ebay.

For an affordable mod and Genesis locally Vapor Bank is good, you could get a Vamo and an Aga T plus batteries and a charger for around $125 to $150 and shipping is fast. Not really sure about the other issue, unless you were getting dry hits from the nic juice being low. The Eternity only holds 35-40 drops, which I think is a little less than an ounce.

32 Gauge wire came in today. Dissapoint. This wire is just a little too think to get the posts all the way on. I'm pretty sure this device won't fire if the posts aren't all the way on ---- that or I broke it trying to get the posts on.

Edit: I got the posts down far enough to fire AND put a battery on that wasn't dead. Will post a video of my first coil for criticism.

An ounce is 2 TBSP, mine only holds 20 comfortably before it starts leaking.
