and I'm going to try out the V3 Joye Stick.

I've been using the 901 for a year now and I religiously take care of this thing I'm on my 20th atomizer and easily my 25th battery.. just a few weeks ago I received 6 batteries.. 4 for me, 2 for my friend.. and out of the 6 we have 1 left that half works.. the atomizers leak like crazy, destroying the battery which in turn destroy the atomizer.. I had one get real hot in my pocket last week and it started to melt the cartridge and left a red mark on my hip!.. lol
and not to mention that these suck down juice like crazy.. usually after I have the equivalent of a few smokes I drip in 4-5 drops.. now it's like I'm dripping in 10-15 like the cartridge has been sucked dry (it's probably all in my battery) I don't know if they changed anything in the manufacturing process lately, but they haven't been like this before.. this was my last 5 atomizers that acted like this.

also despite these problems I have to say that the place I get them from who will remain anonymous still has the best customer service and pricing ever and despite the problems I will still order from them.

anyways I'm going to try out the Joye Stick mod.. mainly because the battery and electronics are separated and sealed so there is less change of leakage destroying it.

After I recieve the Modified Joye stick the only 901 vaping I will do is when I'm done my flashlight mod. Leakage is the 90% killer of stock 901 batteries, which then take out the atomizers because they stick on and heat up to the moon (at least all of mine)

I would get a manual battery, but if they are built like the USB Pass through then I'm worried the button will fall out in the first 5 minutes and I'll once again be stuck with a useless battery.

25 bad atomizers and batteries ?

I've been at this for about 11 months and have 7 bad atomizers and 4 bad batteries.
Use 510 and 801. Most parts bought from Heaven-gifts. The 510 parts are the most
reliable.

I almost NEVER clean my atomizers or do anything special. Just fill with juice when
it starts to taste dry.

It sounds like you should try something different !

standard 901 batteries are pretty junky, the 10440 battery that the Joye-Stick uses is a bit of an upgrade. but a mod that runs a 14500 or a 16340 battery will perform much better IMO

good to hear that..

and also my last battery just died last night.. it doesn't seem like there was any leakage.. I watch the connection between the battery and atomizer like a hawk and always wipe them out, but the switch just started acting up to the point where it would turn on for 1-2 seconds and then blink like I took too long of a draw. So yay to that.. it's going to be a week or two before my order comes in. at least I have 3 901 passthrough's that also don't work.. lol </sarcasm>

The Joye Stick is a good choice unless you are going to be away from power for long periods of time. I keep mine plugged in most of the time and use it like a passthrough. But even unplugged I have never taken out the first battery I put in it, it does last for hours and I haven't had a leakage problem so far. I just ordered one for my 18 yr old son (he's tried a couple of other e-cigs and is still smoking, but really likes my Stick so I'm hoping that gets him off the cigs) and another one for myself so I can have yet another flavor going all the time, because 4 flavors just isn't enough for my OCD personality :).
