Soooo I just entered the world of vaping - my first try a week ago was a disaster, mainly because I didn't do enough research. I ended up trying with a ego-T, which is fine, but used a low resistance clearomizer with 100% PG juice and an atomizer \ cartridge set up and had either harsh throat hit with the clearomizer or strange sensations on my lips and tongue I couldn't get rid of from then cartidge set up. The topper was no matter what i did i kept getting the liquid in my mouth. Total yuck. After about a day and a half I felt ill, had intestinal problems, and generally couldn't even stomach the thought of vaping. Back to analogs while I scoured this site and started anew

Now i have a provari mini (blue) on order and found Virgin Vaper! I'm feeling so hopeful now because it's organic! And 100 % VG! I'm haunting my mailbox for my deliveries from ProVape and VV but what's really cracking me up is how I'm actually more excited for the arrival of the VV samples than the ProVari. Hoping for tomorrow :).

Anyhow, just wanted to share that sometimes its the little things in life that give the most enjoyment.

Omg I can't imagine 100% PG blech! I get horrible sinus issues with 70% PG. Your ego T was fine, most likely your clearomizer and liquid type were the bad moves, lol.

We're sure glad to have you. The issue with vaping is it requires more work and research than smoking. With cigs, you buy a pack and walk away. With ecigs...you can miss the boat if you do the wrong thing. It's the nature of the beast. Every setup has its pros and cons - you will discover that. Nothing is 100% perfect yet, but some things are very close. This is the reason why there is so much variance in PV setups...the technology is still evolving and there is no single universal medium quite yet.

Take it from us, do as much research as you can before buying and you will save $$$. The internet is your friend.

Welcome to VV, home of organic natural and 100% VG (read not PG) flavors!

What flavors did u get btw? And what nic level?

Thank you! and a total "blech" on the 100% PG. I just didn't know any better lol. Yeah, I think there wasn't anything wrong with the ego T, but did get the ProVari so I'd have more control over the voltage - plus, it came in a lovely powder blue :)

This can be a seriously confusing new world, but this forum has been a total lifesaver, really.

I only got samples right now, which i think come in 12mg nic level - but that's probably what I'm going to be using anyhow. I'm at work, so I don't have access to my orders, but i think most of the samples I got were fruity flavors - and they were all from the Absolute (I think that's what it's called) line.

Welcome, sassers! Oooh, you made a good choice going fruity on the Absolute samplers!

I'm Annette's/Virgin Vapor's customer service rep, so please let me know if you have any questions! You can either post here on the forum, or PM me. You also have a great bunch of experienced VVers here on the forum who love to help others out! (Just ignore them if they're being naughty...but the more the merrier :) )

Hi and thank you! No peach samples in this round - I can't believe I missed it! But, in my defense there are so many scrumptious sounding options ... I'll have to hit up the peach the next go around!

Hi kitty and thank you! Actually you've already helped me with an email question I had a day ago, which made me place another order of samples and some vision thingies :)

Thank you all for the warm welcome and responses

You should be good with 12mg nic. Annettes 18/19mg mg level is quite strong (stronger than other vendors) because the ingredients are pure so be mindful of that. Unless of course, 12mg aint cutting it for ya, then you need to go up. Hang with us in ChitChat thread for all kinds of shennanigans and useless banter and brag about your vapemail when you get it. Don't believe the hype. I am the best behaved there, Kitty and the rest are trouble in jumbo VV bottle. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

I'll have to pop over there then just to see if the rumors are true :). Funny but up until this forum (ecf) I've always been a lurker in every forum I've been in. This one feels so different somehow...

It is. People are nice here. As opposed to other forums where people regurgitate their psychological issues on everyone else, lol.
