Hi, All,

I'm new here, from Western Maryland. I've been vaping and smoke free for 2 weeks today. I've already bought too much stuff!

To the veterans - do you find that you settle on a setup and stick with it or are you still trying new stuff?

I've only been vaping for coming up to 3 months and upgraded to an iTaste VV3 (well 2 of them actually !) after the first month. I didn't think I'd ever go for a box type - but I think I probably will at some stage.

I'd like to say you settle down with what you are happy with, But it's too early in the day to start lying. Seeing new 'Play Pretties' (mods, tanks, etc) and trying new e-juice still the root of all evil. 9 months in, still buying a new toy at least once a month. The hope is that I'm still ahead of what I was spending on cigs, but the reality is... Don't ask don't tell.

I'm not really doing this to save money. I was rolling my own for the last few years so I was only paying about 1.20/pack and was smoking 1.5 to 2 packs/day.

I do find that I vape almost constantly. I'm using 12mg juice.

What is the advantage to the mods over the egos?

My son got one of those cigarette pack sized things that last a couple days but that is way too big for me.

Also, thinking of getting a dripper but I don't know what to get or how to use it.

Your situation should be on a poster for APVs. I also vape continuously, but only change batteries once a day. I own and use 2-Vamo V2s, 1-Vamo V3, 1-VamoV5, 1-Evic, 1-Sigelei Z-Max, 1-Handmade VV Box. They are all fine mods, but the Vamos and the Sigelei are favs. Highly recommended.

What is the advantage to the mods over the egos?

Longer battery life, the ability to swap batteries and keep vaping, better voltage regulation, and the ability to vape at higher voltages

Welcome fellow Marylander - you might check out Innokin itaste MVP 2: battery(2600mah and performs even better) should get you through the day and most of the night chain vaping. Has both ego/510 compatibility for making use of your current toppers, I would think.

One of my favorites and many forum members here - there is a thread just dedicated to this model.

Some people settle down after a while and some don't. I finally found what I'm happy with and I probably won't purchase anything for a month or more.

hello from central MD!!!

I started off with a cheap extremely over priced CE5 I got from the mall. It worked ok but wasn't really happy with the setup. Moved on to try a 510 cigalike and that was ok too but still not perfect. The guys over at billowvape showed me what they personally use (kanger T3S with 1100 vv bat) and I enjoy that setup very much. I have spent a good amount of money but I figure in the end it is still cheaper then conventional tobacco. By the way the vapor room over in Cumberland is one of my favorite shops
