I don't think being a yoga instructor tops me- I think we might be about equal.. LOL. I have 80% of our trash going into compost, and my kids are in cloth diapers. We're looking at building a place out in the country so we can totally go off the grid. (LOL @ self)

And here I am stuck with this stupid habit that generates more waste than almost everything else in my house. I feel seriously like a hypocrite, and none of my friends know I smoke because I'm afraid to tell them, and too ashamed. (bag over head)

Really though, I'm sooooo glad I'm not the only one! I think picking up my first cigarette classifies as the biggest mistake I've ever made. Certainly the one with the most regret.

And the stupid part, I wouldn't even mind being addicted to nicotine, if I didnt have the smell and toxins to go along with it.

I say good for you for doing all of that...good choice converting to e- cigs... and never, ever be ashamed of who you are!

My kids wore cloth diapers too, that was 17 and 21 years ago LOL. We refuse to use any chemicals on our typical suburban cul de sac lawn - our dogs take care of it for us, we have the lushest greenest lawn here LOL. My dream is to buy some land put up a few yurts and live that way for the rest of my years.... maybe some day.

Best of luck with vaping, I hope it gives you all you need from it.

901 is a good starter kit for beginners... be prepared after you get it to buy and buy again... happens to all of us... not cuz you have to but because you want to... I recommend litecig in the suppliers section of this forum, 30 to 40 kits and you get it in 2 or 3 days ... shawn is great

You might want to get a pen style M201 or DSE 801, for your transition from analogs to these, more satisfying at first closer to a real smoke. A good mini is the Joye 510, titan etc... i have been thru about 10 or 15 models and it has become my fave, cept for the pipe... although I am starting to like my M801 more and more

I've got to say, I'm a little leary of ordering from China what with the possible problem with customs and stuff. Also, I think supporting our domestic suppliers can only be good for our economy.
Anna, if you're wanting it that bad we do have some great suppliers here in the forum that ship orders super fast(from order to your door in 2-3 days). Myvaporstore, Vapor4life and Electronic Ash to name a few. (I only named suppliers that I've previously ordered from and had good experiences).
Also, I think Vapor Country is based in B'more, and he does flea markets sometimes.

Have a great day!

This thread is making me feel so much better about my nasty addiction... I can top you all, I am a Registered Yoga Therapist. Shhh don't tell anyone about my habit LOL.

I looked at Smoking Everywhere at the mall kiosk - talk about a pushy salesman. I of course walked away, had already ordered Blu, and 2 510's for hubby and I. I am truly loving the passthrough.

Yep -- I would have my vegetarian meal, do my yoga...then have a cig! Glad there are other weird dichotomy folks here.

When you get your manual USB passthru for the 901, be careful that it doesn't overheat. I got one Saturday, and it has gotten stuck 'on' about a dozen times, usually without the LED light showing that it is on. The liquid starts to boil, and I've melted 3 cartridges, one of them so badly that it is stuck in atomizer and I can't get it out.

BUT I find the manual USB passthru gives me great vapor and taste. I've been preventing the overheating by unscrewing the atomizer enough that it doesn't connect to the battery if I put the ecig down on my desk or get up 'for a minute', and I disconnect it from the USB hub if I'm leaving the computer for a longer time. (I DO sleep sometime!).

You'll find your 20ml bottle of liquid will last at least 2 weeks. My first week, when I only had a 30ml bottle of eliquid, I know I used around 10 ml - I've gotten several samples of different flavors since then, so I can't estimate my current usage - I expect it's about the same. Don't even try to equate the number of milligrams of nicotine you currently get from cigarettes to the strength/size of your bottle of e-liquid - they don't really equate.

... I do wonder- is it possible to totally get all traces of nicotine out of the fibers? And if not, any clue if nicotine is harmful to worms?

Hmmmm... I have no clue about worms. I mean, I'm sure it's harmful - nic is harmful to all critters, just in different doses. But, the way I figure it, by the time I wash out the stuffing really well, whatever is clinging to them is in small enough amounts to likely not cause harm. I also double-bag everything and don't put out the trash ahead of time, so critters don't have time to get into the bags just in case. OK, I'm paranoid. :) The neighbor's farm dog runs around loose, and occasionally endulges in trash-scavenging. She is a really sweet dog, and I'd hate her to accidentally eat something bad... Plus there are a couple of chipmunks that live under the porch, and a skunk that always comes by about two in the morn.. Thus - paranoia. ;)

I have several worm compost bins where most of my household trash goes. It would make the wildlife even safer, if the worms got to the stuff first. (ok, so I am a total weirdo- LOL)

Yeah, but what about whatever eats the worms with nic in them?

I just took a quick look at healthcabin.. Their prices are about the same as the place i ordered from (having a brainfart on the name). I ended up paying $13 for shipping I think, so not much difference there. I'm going on 48 hours since I ordered now, so I dont think there's a chance it'll be here in 3 more days. LOL.. 5 days in transit from shipping, so like 7 days total?

I'm just into as close to instant gratification as possible. The reason I shop at healthcabin (when I go Chinese at all) is because they have five days as opposed to seven days... And it does always seem to get here on the fifth day from ordering. But otherwise, the two are pretty much the same I guess.

I don't order from China so much anymore. Ordering stuff from US vendors gets me my stull in two or three days, plus some folks offer free shipping, coupons, etc. To order from China, I have to justify the shipping by making a big order, and I almost never have the cash on hand for that... <sigh> Though those copper 510s are sooooooo tempting. They look so *pretty*... :)

Cheers,
Briar.

I'm so glad I read this thread! I'm an Earth-loving, tree-hugging massage therapist. With a degree in my field, I'm expected to be a serious advocate of holistic health practices and healthy living in general.

A friend of mine, another massage therapist actually, bought an e-cig at a mall but I ordered mine (510) online and am so glad I did. Waiting for it is difficult but it's worth it! I've already ordered more parts but it's not so difficult to wait for those since my starter kit and PCC is holding up and handling my needs just fine for now.

We order from us and Canada ourselves. We live in Canada and have a p.o box in the us to ship us orders to.

Got one goin there now we will be picking up in 2 weeks on our way to paradise. Week long camping trip. We ordered a few pre flavored bottles, to try. We also have to get our Capella juice shipped there as they don't ship to canada.

Looking into faeries finest as one vendor sells it, all natural so will post about that in about 4 weeks when we get back. Anyone tried them yet? They have Huckleberry... MMMMmmmm....
