I've been vaping a while, but always been nervous to get into the RBA scene, seemed a lot of trouble and hassle, but another thread I am in a lot, kept talking how awesome they are, so decided to give them a try, I did want a genesis (tank) rba, as don't want to keep dripping juice, so as one of the cheapest RTA, I decided on the RSST, and then I was also very kindly pifed a AGA, think it is the T2.
So been messing with these for about 2 weeks, tried normal coil, micro coil, SS mesh and cotton wicks, 1st I preferred the RSST, as couldn't get the AGA to wick well using SS mesh, well that changed once switched to organic cotton, using a micro coil at 1.1ohm (28 gauge kanthal) with the cotton, the AGA is blowing me away with flavor and vapor, but now the RSST is a disappointment, tried the same setup with the RSST, and the flavor/warmth isn't there. With the AGA I can feel the inhale, but with the RSST, I can't even tell I am getting anything till I exhale and see the vapor.
But because the AGA has now blown me away, it has got me hooked on the RBA's, today I ordered a Ithaka clone, was only $37 shipped, and like the looks of it, as coils under the tank, so think be less wicking problems, and like the features of air flow and juice control, if that works as well as the AGA, then be very happy and can see the RSST being put away, but not quite given up on it yet.
Anyway just wanted to share my experince so far, and thank people in these forums, been very helpful reading up in here
