I did a little searching and it seems like I have a learning curve ahead of me. While I do this research, I would really appreciate some pointers. Such as where to buy the pg\vg\alternatives, nicotine, flavor drops, the works! I think this is definitely worthwhile venturing into, especially with the stupid things going in the NY Vapeworld. The more I get into vaping, the more I would prefer leaning towards self-sufficiency.

I've gone crazy experimental with custom flavors on MBV, and have gotten good with fine tuning ratios on their menus. Definitely want to point out that my palate is complex, I enjoy flavors that get to my head. DIY seems like it's worth venturing into, and if you can help me jump start into this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I got all my stuff from Wizard Labs https://wizardlabs.us They carry pretty much anything you would need. I got VG, PG, Nicotine, syringes, blunt tip needles, bottles, 10 flavors and some other assorted stuff for my initial purchase. Came to $112; however, $56 of that was for the nicotine, 100mg/500ml which should last me a long, long time!

I am fortunate in that their facility is within an hour's drive from my home. I visited them and got assistance in making my first purchase. They are great folks who vape, and the Chemist that helped me also does DIY (would love to taste some his juices). John, the owner, came out and talked to my wife and I. He reviewed the list of stuff I thought I might need to start and helped us get everything we needed to include telling us we didn't need some of the stuff on our list!

There are a number of vendors who sell DIY stuff. A lot of people get their basic supplies from feed stores, drug stores and even WalMart. I went with Wizard Labs because they are in business for e-juice makers, period.

Good luck. It is a lot of fun, but can become addictive!!!

Every ones tastes are different. I like Best Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - MyFreedomSmokes.com they carry TFA juices and liquids. Good price and about a 4 day wait or less. This may all be old news to you but some tips I do. I use a Calculator for my mixes like E-Liquid Recipe Name. Keep it simple to start and use a notebook to write down what you like. I mix up a 125 ml of pg and vg ahead of time of what ever ratio you like. I put 8ml of my pg-vg in a 15 ml bottle add 20 drops of nic {which equals a level of 10} I then add 20 drops of flavor { which equals 10 percent flavor} I then can adjust my levels to my liking. Some things I want more nic while others not so much. Same with the flavors. Every 5 drops I add increases the level by about 2 and a half percent. I like to use a 510 to drip. Rather than keep pouring my tank back into the bottle when I add more flavor to test. There is a lot of info in this forum write it down or bookmark it.
