I'm seriously considering placing an order, but I want to make sure that I order the right things. I've been looking through the threads here so as not to post a repeat question, but I'm becoming more confused as I go along.. so please forgive me if I'm asking something that's already been asked.

That said... I am using the Vapor King PV w/cartomizers, and I want to stick with using cartos. I'm just tired of recharging batteries all the time (and it's only been one week!), or being tied to my PT.

From what I've read, the Chuck can be used w/cartos, but I need an adapter. What kind of adapter, and is that something that can be purchased on the Chuck site, or do I get it somewhere else? If somewhere else, I'd appreciate a link :)

I saw another thread where someone had to use a drill to modify the adapter to use it with cartos... I am not handy in that respect, and would like something that is ready to go "outta the box". Will that be the case?

As for batteries for the Chuck, I did see the battery thread, and think I can figure it out, but any suggestions are welcome :)

Thanks!

Nightnurse - based on your sig, i'm assuming you use V4L products. I do too. Here's what I ordered so I can keep on using V4L cartos:

big chuck with the 510 connector + 510 to 901/808 adapter. and of course the 18650 batteries and charger.

here's the setup: "big chuck with 510" is connected to the "510 to 901/808 adapter" which is then connected to the "V4L carto".

make sense so far? later on, i will be ordering a 510 atomizer and cartridge so i can try dripping (haven't done that before). or, instead of a cartridge, i might get me the T-tip from super-t manufacturing for direct dripping. we'll see :)

hope that helps.

btw, i ride too :)

sc0ut's got you going in the right, just wanted to add no drilling will be required if you get the adapter at the same site you get the Chuck at (thagbuilt.com, little bit lower down below the Chuck order button). Should mention that his suggested setup also works with Little Chuck's as well (different batteries, but same connector --> adapter setup.

The early 510 to 901/808/cartomizer adapters sometimes had airflow issues with the carto's but I got one similar to the one sold there and it works like a charm.

I've only used carto's on my Little Chuck and have had absolutely no issues (except when I fried a carto while vaping and Xbox'ing at the same time--rolled between the cushions on the couch which kept the button pushed down...whooo-boy that carto was HOT!!)

It's basically a hollow brass tip that you can drip strait through, so you don't have to take off the cart to drip.

I'm still not really sure of the point of it. I mean, you're still just tailpiping, only making the 'tailpipe' longer. :?: I suppose it keeps your lips from getting hot like when you hit directly from the atty. Personally, when I drip, I either just use an empty cart and pop it off to drip, or use a rubber pen grip.

Some ppl need it fancy though  Nothing against it, it just seems a little unnecessary to me.
