What part of Illinois do you live in?

Do any of the other 'chuckleheads' in Illinois live near enough to you that you could see and hold a Little Chuck (and perhaps a regular Chuck) so that you could judge better for yourself how it would feel in your hand?

It's a cool idea, but one I don't think my husband would go for. In any case, I don't think a short meet would give me a good enough idea. I think I'm going to email Jeff and see if he can weigh one for me. Then I can either find something around the same weight or (if I'm feeling really ...., which I often am) I'll make myself up a little model that's close to the real thing in dimensions and weight and carry it around for a couple of days.

I appreciate all the comments, y'all! It's wonderful, when one is considering a purchase, to hear from so many people who are passionate about the device.

OK, Jo, I just weighed my Little chuck, with battery, atomizer and cart, ready to vape.

4.1 oz or 117 grams. That's a quarter pounder, I guess, but much better for ya! ;)

Hope that helps...

Perhaps you could play with a roll of quarters as that is just about the circular dimension, and maybe even close to the height (which is 3.5" for the little Chuck, then add the atty and cart and you are at just about 5 3/8" (901 atty))

Aloha

Fair enough. Everyone's opinion is different and you are certainly entitled to yours, but just so the OP is not deterred by your opinion...

The 3.7V of a cr123 (or preferably 18350) is not the same as 3.7V of a stock batt. For one thing, neither are 3.7V when they come off the charger (they are both 4.2V).
The big difference (that most people see) between a Chuck at 3.7V and a stock batt at 3.7V is that the itty bitty stock batt gasps in shock when it sees the huge load that an atty puts on it. And the voltage drops considerably when it cowers in fear.
The big ... 1200mAh batt in a Chuck laughs at the load of the atty and says, "that all you got? pfft" and as a result delivers more voltage to the atty. It will also hold that 4+ volts for a considerably long time compared to the stock batts (which will measure closer to 3.7V after about 10 hits). So the consistency of hits from a chuck is much better than the 'hit and miss' (pun intended) vapes that you get from a stock batt.

Again just my .02

I had to bump this to the next page.

Its great info.

In my opinion go for the big chuck.
