I thought you guys would like this story. I've mentioned that my first kit was a cheapy store bought thing that cost too much and totally sucked. What I didn't mention is that I bought it after I saw the one my sister in-law bought. Since then of course, I've gotten an eGo-T, some 510 atomizers, a drip tip and a bunch of different juice. Now the thing is I'm in a much better position to buy that kind of thing than my sister in-law. So, I decided that for turning me on to vaping, I was going to buy her the Riva 510 starter kit on Liberty Flights, if she liked what I was using.
Well today was the first time I had a chance to show her. She liked it. She started naming the problems with that crummy kit. I started naming them with her. She was having exactly the same problems I had. She's also still having a few analogues a day. I gave her a bottle of juice that I used to like but now tastes like a dirty ashtray and showed her how to refill those crummy carts through the hole on the battery side. She was impressed. They were better than new. I ordered her the kit and some extra atomizers and carts. I also ordered some Boge cartomizers for me but, I promised to let her try them.
A little later that crummy battery of hers died and she was stuck having to go back to analogues. I grabbed my extra battery, put a 510 atomizer and cart on it and told her that I wanted it back before she left. She started using it and couldn't stop raving and saying with this device she wouldn't need cigarettes. It quickly became clear that getting it back would be a level of cruelty I'm just not capable of. Now I need to mention that in my newbie state, I didn't realize that passthrough batteries were actually batteries. I thought they only worked plugged in. So, when I bought the eGo kit, I bought two passthroughs. Essentially I have 4 batteries. So, I gave her my regular batteries, charger, an extra atomizer and an extra cartridge. I kept the passthroughs. Now my other batteries are hostage to the kit that I'm buying. It's worth it though.
