The wicks are just nubs on the Stardust, but the natural vaping motion keeps them wicking. I prefer the shorter wicks for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, the liquid has a much shorter distance to travel to get to the coil so any tip of the unit wicks pretty instantly and secondly, A quick couple of rinses with water and I can change flavors. There is less wick for the old flavor to hang around in. I get a few steamy vapes after I rinse, but usually by the 4th or 5th, it's working great.

Are the wicks very short on the Stardust. And do you find that you have to keep tilting the pv so they get wet. Just wondering
Drac

From what i've seen and heard they are short but have seen it said that the tilting when vaping keeps them wet. One review i watched noticed issues if they went under a 1/4 full.

Thanks If I use it on the darwin I will have to remember to tilt a bit. Looking forward to using one.

Because the wicks touch the walls, they tend to trap juice around them on the wall....it sticks to them....basically, unless you keep it standing on end and then never tip to vape, they always stay wet.

And yes, keeping it at least 1/3 filled is definitely a good idea.....and not really a problem.

Its been a problem for me...I've gone through four ml's in 12 hours today because this thing is just SO DAMN DELICIOUS

Here's hoping my shipment of flavorings gets in tomorrow or I'm going to have a problem this weekend. LOL.

Must agree with the OP and MVVM, much cleaner taste and sweeter vapour than with my carto.
(DIY Vanilla)

Mine drinks the juice a little too, surpisingly I'll need to fill this more frequently than I do the
xxl cartos.

Though they're cheap enough to be disposable, I like the option of replacing the wick and coil with
these, if/when needed. Tinkering is fun.

Observation...If the markings on the tank(ml) are at all accurate, they are made less so due to the
fact that the base of the unit fits into the tube up to the 0.3mil mark. jmo.

New stuff keeps me vaping more and not thinking about smoking.

Cheers Hitme:vapor::vapor:

FYI - for those with Joyetech 3.3v battery, taste is good -vapour production - mediocre. Ironically, an eGo knockoff(3.7v) will work better. I don't have a knock-off to compare but what has been said on this thread it seems clear that everyone is happy with the vapour production. Hopefully Mindfield can test my theory.

Luckily for me, I have an eGo Booster and at 3/8 turn - this thing is making clouds.

I'm getting 3.3ohms - which would make sense as why the vapour production seems low at 3.3v
Thanks Mike. To bad they're set so high. If they are so great, CanVape should think about stocking some Nichrome & wicks in the future.

BTW, anyone one on a Mac. To txt the Ω symbol it's Option Z, It's eZee to remember, the Z is above the Option key. :p
