Also one more thing, this mod should not be able to accidentally fire. I have a mod that i LOVE with all my heart, but it has a tendency to burn without me noticing because the trigger is so easy to go off (i placed it in a friend's car, and a plastic bottle rolled on top of it, which depressed the firing trigger, and it just burnt for 10 minutes straight till the atty melted and the whole thing was kaplooie.

Also any recommendations on 1.5 LR 306 atty's ? I got a lot of dead on arrival 306 atty's from a rather famous supplier whom i won't name either, and was wondering about empire 306's

The cheapest mods are boxmods. For around $20 you can pick one up. You can build one for less than $10. If you've got some 14500 batt's and a charger on hand you just need the mod. They work just as well as any other 3.7v mod, they just aren't as durable. Most all come with an on/off switch so you don't have to worry about it firing accidentally.

Custom Mods

Mod Kits

As for LR 306 atty's, here's the lowest price I've found on genuine Joye's, Genuine Joye 306 low resistance 10-pack of atomizers, but it's a 10 pack. I've bought lots of 510's and 901's from Vapor Kings and they're all good quality.

I have a shine mod from Parkes, and this thing is awesome! I got it used from the classifieds, so the bottom on/off switch was disabled. But brand new, they do have a bottom on/off switch. You really can't beat $25 for a tube mod brand new!

Silver Diamond

I'm giving you the link for the Diamond mod, because from what I understand the bottom switch doesn't interfere with setting the mod on it's end. Also, they've got pretty good flavors of ejuice!

Best of luck with your search :)

All the eGo's have a safety feature of pressing the power button 5 times in 2 seconds to shut off the power. They have wide tubes, and large drip tips available for them, and the best part is, they're cheap, pocketable, and still look somewhat like a large cigarette or cigar. If I was on a budget - oh wait... - I would have bought a new eGo to replace my lost one instead of buying a silver bullet. That being said, I just built a box mod for $8.00 plus the cost of a pack of 4xAAA rechargeable batteries, so $20.00 total, used an old 510 battery for the connector piece, and an old - newly-debridged - 510 atty with a drip tip. Thing hits like a beast, and has a separate on/off switch, along with a momentary switch.... almost impossible to misfire. As an added bonus, I can pull out the atty, and use the green LED as a flashlight. lol

I recently purchased this mod, SmokTek "SmokBox" - Custom 3.7 volt Box Mod - A Personal Vaporizer with Power!, for $19.99, (now $22.99), and using a Joye LR306 1.5 from VaporKings and haven't touched my Ego's since getting it. I also have used Joye LR510's, (from VK's also), on it as well and for now am very satisfied. I am doing my research on a bottom feeding mod as my next step. I drive all day and just think it is generally not a good idea to drive and drip.....although I have gotten pretty good at it lately.....

I don't know how much you have to spend, but Madvapes has a couple of tube mods for around 40-45 bucks. The Rough Stack V2 uses an 18350 battery. The switch is located on the top next to the 510 connector and is not prone to easily fire accidentally.

The Bolt uses an 18500 battery. The switch is located on the side and is somewhat recessed to protect it from accidentally firing, but I could see it happening.
