I'm sure your going to love both. I personally only use cisco atties because of the performance aspect to them.
But I did like the 306?
Some history:
I tried 1.5 ohm 510's from Avid Vapor. Nightmare, burnt everything.
I tried 1.8 ohm and 2.0 ohm 510 Cannons from IKV. Nightmare, leaked everywhere even with o-rings. I also didnt like the any of the 801 Drip Tips feel (didn't like it on my old mod either).
I tried 1.8 and 1.5 901's. I liked these but they clog so easily and don't "quite" have the vapor production of....
The Avid 306 1.5's. I like these just not the vape. It kills my juices. It also seems to finicky like goldilocks, off the charger... too hot! into the vape... where was the middle of the vape?, drops... too cold!
Here is the rub, so... "Bogey, just buy 1.8 or 2.0 ohm 306's, you can get them". Okay I understand that. But I am about to whine, so plug your ears. 9 bucks and no specials??
I'm kinda stuck and running out of ideas. So by default I will answer the first point right away, yes I have cartos. Honestly, my absolute favorite has been boge carto's, and thats all i use on the grand, and I love the vape. It does hit my sweet spot.
But I really want an atty for the mini, so I can make easy juice changes, and slap in 3ml sample bottles and not have to use up a carto just to try a juice once.
So I am turning to the Reonauts for suggestions. I know it's a preference thing, but I hope that some of the history I am providing can help a little. So any Boge Carto users find a good vaping atty they like now and then? Do you just keep a couple of them on hand and don't worry about bulk or specials type pricing?
Oh and if this helps, I have found things I like are:
Neutral to slightly warm vape.
Flavor Junky.
Not a TH chaser, i just need a touch.

Well I had a major surprise the other day. I ordered the Vapor Kings bulk Joye 1.5 ohm 510 attys a few weeks ago. I hadn't used any but I've been sending them with DH on his Mini Reo. I have some VK 510 that are going on a year old. I've been using 306 and IKV 801 for months now. So when I loaded up two Mini Wodvils with FSUSA Butterscotch Almond on the two Mivils I put on a new Vapage BF 2.0 on one and a new VK 1.5 510 on the other and a bulk 1.7, that are supposed to be better than the Joye, all same juice..................... I was totally blown away by the VK attys!!!!!!!!!! Flavor, TH, and plums of vapor. The Hybrid very similar but a bit lighter draw. The other bulks, no name, give muted flavor and much tighter draw. I'm used to tight draw as I use IKV 801s a lot. The muted flavor is a biggie. They have extra wick, similar to the 306 so I'm going to dewick and see if that makes a difference. If not they are going into emergency pile or sold.
I'd venture to say that the VK bulk 1.5 are the best 510 I've ever used in the past year. In bulk they come out to be less than $5 a piece, fast and cheap shipping.
DH has been using the VK for over a month now and was complaining about too much flavor!!!!

They (VK) are the only place I buy attys now. I *once* had a DOA slb 901 from them, which they promptly replaced, but I've never had a DOA bulk 510 from them, and I've ordered a few batches now. I haven't kept any accurate records, but they last as well as any atty I've used.
I like the idea of the bulk atty's but worry the 510s or 306s would be too hot at 1.5 ohms. Also worried the bulk standards would be too cool. Guess I just need to try them. Maybe standard ones first? If the are too cool I could always try them w/ a 5v set up on the grand.

He does have the bulk in 2.2 range in black and steel. Some may be a little lower but the Joye I've gotten typically don't range a whole lot.

I just got 2-5 packs (in black) from him. All metered out to be 2.3 Ω, except for 2 that read 2.2 Ω
Stick around, he'll be back. We've been giving him some suggestions on how to ship to us, and he's thinking about it. You can try emailing him and asking him if he's willing to ship to you. You may have to sign a waiver saying that you will not hold him responsible if something happens to your shipment though.
I love the Joye 510 LR's and SLB 901 LR's from him. Bulk buying ROCKS!!
